That is definitely music to my ears!!!!
If/when he gets voted out, along w/ Hagel in Nebraska, this will serve as a huge political deterrent: Support amnesty, and get voted out of office.
I have called the Republican Party Committee of Greenville Co. in South Carolina. I spoke to one of the Executive Committe members. He verified the passage of the resolution and said the resolution contained the verbage asking Senator Graham to resign from the Rebublican party and to not run for any further public office within South Carolina as a republican because of his stance o the illegal immigration issue. The resolution has not yet even been released to the press. I am in the process of trying to obtain a copy of it.
Will keep you posted :D :D :D

...this is the gentlemen I spoke to by phone that verified the resolution. He is a very interesting gentlemen that is a stanch opponent to illegal immigration. We had a very interesting phone conversation that lasted allmost 40 minutes on all aspects of illegal immigration, the SC Republican party, and Lindsey Graham and his potential oppoition opponents in the next election.Quote:
Doug Wavle, the county party’s state executive committee member, said the initial resolution called also for Graham to resign from the party, but it was deleted before the final vote
I am glad to see they are doing this. Although I also have to agree with Buffalododger that he will not go quietly, or without more name calling.
What a wonderful gift! Now, we need to go after more. Who's next? If we get Bush and Cheney out, you know who would be next in line. Polosi. YUCK! We have to tread carefully. But it is such good news to know we do make a difference!
