Journalists or a flock of mindless sheep?

In a search using "illegal alien" I was struck by the results. ALL of these media outlets print the same story and change the title just a little bit. So much for journalism all these folks are doing is broadcasting the central messages for the Politburo.

It appears to me that Journ-o-list is still alive and these "news" outlets are nothing but mindless sheep printing what they are told. JMO

This is, I believe, in large part to the fact that most national news releases come from AP and Reuters. Since these "reliable" sources have been known to release photo-shopped pictures and are known to filter the news, i.e., they only furnish all the news They Think Is Fit to Print, we should not be surprised. For example, other news sources outside of the US have clearly stated that at one time over 20 of our embassies were under simultaneous attack from Muslim extremists, but I do not recall seeing them reported as such. We know the news media covers up as many of Obama's gaffes as they can keep up with, and how many challenges have there been to the Administrations' s ongoing position that the Muslim violence in the Mid East was caused by a an anti-Muslim video on Youtube, when there has been clear indications that this was a pre-planned, organized attack to celebrate 9/11? Now we are seeing reports on how the polling data that all of the news agencies salaciously dribble out to us favoring Obama are actually skewed because of questionable assumptions, sampling procedures, slanted questions, etc. As near as I can tell, objective journalism, professional journalism, and honest investigative journalism no longer exist in the USA, at least not in a quantity that is easily seen or recognized.

Sadly your correct,40 years of liberal public schools tie that to Ivy League colleges that many journalist attend and it's much like inbred hillbillies they all have the same ideas, live, work and associate with only the one group.
How can anyone who has lived there entire lives in a bubble come up with an individual idea. What's really weird these same "reporters" are all about the 1st amendment yet they don't seem to realize there ignorance will kill free speech.

Only one way out is conservative private schools and colleges IMO.

I basically agree. What we really need to do is get federal funding out of public schools. That inlcudes K thru College. Once that Federal Camel's nose gets in the education tent they screw everything up just like they do everything else that they try to control. But if we cannot do that, at least we should have school choice, more charter school options, encouragement of home schooling, and return control of the schools to the communities and their states.
