All eyes are on Alabama tonight as Republican Judge Roy Moore faces off against pro-abortion Democrat Doug Jones in the Alabama Senate special election. Polls close at 7 p.m. CT (8 p.m. ET). Breitbart News’ Jeff Poor, an Auburn fan and Alabama native who knows the state’s politics as well as anyone, has a preview of what to look for tonight.

It's really a shame to have lost a Republican Senate seat in Alabama.

Republicans will lose more elections if the GOP continues the amnesty talk, doesn't follow through on Obamacare promises and only gives corporate tax breaks. Republicans and democrats, the Uni-Party, threw everything they could at an anti-establishment candidate.

If he won, Luther Strange would most likely vote for amnesty. Mitch McConnell began this with his support for Luther Strange against Mo Brooks. And any legislation for amnesty will permanently defeat republicans but they don't seem to mind. Cocktails, money and power will still flow no matter the outcome.

Mo Brooks or Roy Moore or another conservative may have another opportunity. We will see.

The gloating may be short lived. Mitch McConnell will lecture us for a while about supporting his candidates but tomorrow is another day. This war against the establishment will continue.

Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!

MASSIVE DEMOCRAT TURNOUT In Alabama — GOP Turnout 50% of 2016; Democrat Turnout 92% of 2016

DEMOCRATS HAVE MASSIVE TURNOUT IN 2017 SPECIAL ELECTION–

In 2016 Republican Donald Trump won Alabama with 62% of the vote.
Trump had 1,318,255 votes
Hillary had 729,547 votes

On Tuesday night Democrat Doug Jones defeated Republican Roy Moore in the Alabama special election for US senate.
In 2017 Democrat Doug Jones won the Alabama senate seat with 49.9% of the vote to 48.4% of the vote.
Democrat Doug Jones had 671,151 votes
Republican Roy Moore had 650,436 votes
Via The New York Times:

Republicans (Roy Moore) lost 667,819 votes — or 50% of 2016 vote

Democrats (Doug Jones) lost 58,396 votes — or .08% of 2016 vote

Democrat turnout in the special election — once they smelled blood — WAS ENORMOUS!
