The most exciting, nerve-wracking, nail-biting wonderful political moments of my life was watching this man, Donald Trump, win this election, this man who loves our country and loves our citizens, to become the 45th President of the United States.
THANK YOU everyone for making this happen. I've wanted this man to run for President since 1987 when I saw him in an interview on the Oprah Winfrey Show where he was attacking our trade issues, the insanity of allowing foreign cars to enter our country to compete with our own companies. I knew right then, that Donald Trump a) understood our economy b) understood that what was going on was dead wrong and c) it must be stopped.
30 years later, he will be inaugurated as our President.
It's a long time to wait, but you know what they say, sometimes patience is a virture.
And so it is. Our country has been saved.
