Great comments from President Trump about Mexico, about the trillions spent on illegal immigration.

    bi-lateral trade deals

    immediate removal of criminal aliens,

    NAFTA is terrible,

    Mexico must treat us fairly,

Unless Mexico respects our country, a meeting would be fruitless, and I want to go in a different direction,

    repeal and replace Obamacare,

American energy, use all sources, put coal miners back to work,

    protect farmers, anglers,

    we must be safe country,

what is going on in Chicago ( someone shouts "Democrats"),

    support law enforcement,

    swore in John Kelly yesterday,

    General Mattis tomorrow,

    Radical Islamic terrorism,

keep ballot box safe, take a look at what is registering,

    serve citizens of our country,

    blessed by divinity,

    serve every single American,

bound by duty, bound by God,

    lean, efficient government,

    SupremeCourt Justices,

trade that creates LDL playing field,

honored to be your partner as we work to MakeAmerica Great Again,

God Bless you, God Bless America

( for full comments please see link. Transcript should be available soon.)

President Trump also referenced the March For Life to happen this weekend where hundreds of thousands of people will attend but the media will not cover it like they have the protests and marches similar to the recent Women's March.

You know what that different direction is right? Withdrawal from NAFTA instead of a renegotiation of NAFTA.

I left some words out, "treats our country fairly and with respect", am editing it now! It is a great line, Trump's got his. People have to remember Trump has been on top of this trade problem since 1980. 37 years he's been studying this, watching it, telling others to stop it and fix it, so when media says "he's new", when opponents said "he's inexperienced", that's just not true. He's been on THIS trade problem in depth at its core deep in its treasonous soul for 37 years.

I hope I'm not combining two different statements, but I don't think so. Anyway, it's now got both the "fairly" and "with respect". The key components of a trade deal which Mexico lacks entirely, therefore, THROW THAT FISH BACK and withdraw from NAFTA, now, give notice immediately and get this Trump Train on down the tracks to the next stop.

Imagine what the value of a good trade deal with Russia would mean to US? I see that as a much bigger catch because with that one, we actually can make peace in our spheres of influence without having to put up with drugs and illegal aliens. I'm not saying Russia is criminal enterprise free. But they can't walk over the border. Distance of one type of friendship can be advantageous to a nasty neighbor right next door.

Something for everyone to think about.

Mexico’s President to Trump: ‘I Will Not Attend’ Scheduled Meeting

by Halimah Abdullah and Suzanne Gamboa
    Jan. 13, 2017

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has scrapped an upcoming meeting with President Donald Trump in the wake of a fiery spat over which nation will pay for a border wall between the two countries.

"This morning we informed the White House that I will not attend the business meeting scheduled for next Tuesday with the @POTUS," Nieto tweeted.

Trump tweeted earlier Thursday that if Mexico refused to pay for the wall it might be best to cancel their upcoming meeting.

"The U.S. has a $60 billion dollar trade deficit with Mexico. It has been a one-sided deal from the beginning of NAFTA with massive numbers...," Trump tweeted. "If Mexico is unwilling to pay for the badly needed wall, then it would be better to cancel the upcoming meeting."

Trump's comments were the latest in an increasingly tense back-and-forth. Nieto on Wednesday reiterated that "Mexico will not pay for any wall."

The deep divide over which country will fund Trump's promised wall along the U.S.-Mexican border — along with the White House's pledge to withhold federal funding from so-called "sanctuary cities" — has added tension to the relationship between the two countries.

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox in a video posted on Twitter implored Trump to rethink his position.

"Paisanos, @realDonaldTrump's reaction is one of fear," Fox wrote. "He's seen that México stands together and it's strong. Don't mess with us!"

A day earlier Trump, as he was unveiling his executive orders for ramped up immigration arrests and deportation and the border wall, threw in some praise for Mexico and Mexicans. He declared that the crisis on the border was due to a surge in Central Americans.

During the presidential campaign, Trump's inflammatory rhetoric included calling Mexican immigrants "rapists" and accusing them of "bringing crime."

But Trump has also been threatening to reopen NAFTA, the trade agreement between Mexico, Canada and the U.S., to get a "better deal." He made that along with other trade deals the culprit for manufacturing job losses and other economic ills in the U.S.

Mexico is America's third-largest trading partner.

Nieto had expressed interest in exploring the renegotiation of the 1994 agreement that predates advances in social media, telecommunications and other industries, to modernize it.

Facing some pressure at home and clearly disliking the orders from Trump, Nieto said in Spanish in a video posted on social media that Trump's wall was dividing the two nations.

He had said would be speaking with elected officials and Mexico Cabinet members about the meeting.

Jon Farela, CEO of the Borderplex Alliance, a business border development group, spent this week, speaking and visiting with members of Congress to provide evidence of how NAFTA has benefited both counties and areas for improvement.

"The quickest and surest way to destabilize the border is to remove jobs and hope because people will always find ways to provide for their families," said Farela, a conservative Republican and former New Mexico secretary of economic development who narrowly lost a congressional race in Albuquerque.

Edward Alden, senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, said Nieto had no other choice but to pull out of the visit with Trump, to do otherwise would appear to be kowtowing to Trump's threats.

Trump's goading of Mexico "is going to be extremely dangerous to U.S.-Mexico relations," Alden said. "Mexico is a proud sovereign country, to have the president of the United States bully Mexico into submission is not going to go over well."

    ________________________________

This is not goading. This was a renegotiation of NAFTA to solve problems with your country that are either a direct part of NAFTA or which occur under its shield. The shield is off. You could have withheld your declarations until the meeting and ended it there, but you decided to declare on Twitter, walking right into Trump's net. The United States now has every right, cause and trigger to withdraw from NAFTA.

Trump said "unless Mexico is willing to treat our country fairly and with respect, a meeting is fruitless, and I want to go in a different direction."

Which I totally 100% support. And most Americans will support that different direction which I'm sure is immediate or very soon notice of US withdrawal from NAFTA. You had your chance, you were given fair opportunity to correct the problems, yet you chose not to do so and instead persist in the protection of criminal enterprises and activities that unfairly burden the US and totally disrespects our borders, our economy, our money supply, and most of all, our citizens and workers.
