The population of London is set to surpass 10 million for the first time in history by 2029 due to net migration as the driving cause, according to new statistics.

Currently, London's populations stand at 9.1 million but will soar to over 10 million in a decade, with the population reaching nearly 11 million by 2041.

The dramatic increase in population, which will no doubt put massive strains on services in the UK, is due to massive numbers of international migration to the city, which estimates 172,000 migrants currently arriving each year.

But there are also other cities in the UK face enormous populations growths due to immigration, according to government figures.

Manchester is now seeing an average of 22,000 international migrants each year.

Across all of England, the populations are due to rise from 56.5 million this year to almost 64 million by 2041.

The figures are mainly due to the massive influx of 450,000 international migrants every year, with an annual migration of over 200,000.

This even includes 18-24-year-olds, Asians living in Britain, and people who voted to remain in the European Union.
