I just wonder where the gov't is going to get their tax monies from since so many Americans are having their jobs taken out from under them by foreign and/or illegals.

Union officials don’t want to challenge the liberal consensus that immigration is a Good Thing. As long as the imported teachers join the union, they are willing to sacrifice their American members.

Exactly. This is a major part of the problem, and if union members who are being harmed by this practice do not protest, it will continue. This is why we can have double digit unemployment and no pressure is being put on Congress to reduce or suspend the various visa programs for legal foreign labor, and why only tepid efforts at best are being made at reducing / controlling illegal immigration. Cheap labor. American workers be damned.

My Union takes in IAs and I have protested LOUDLY only to find myself blacklisted by both the contractors and my Union.
