West Virginia’s Senator Joe Manchin is a dishonest Democrat party-first politician and very convincing liar. He has to be in order to survive in a state in which his political party is single-handedly destroying their primary industry and economic lifeblood.
He’s clearly not telling the truth in his appearance Sunday on “Face the Nation.” He conducted a roll call of sorts, just happening to mention the most endangered Democrat Senators in an effort to mislead the public about who they are and what their voting records have been.
He attempts to portray those Senators, who are running away from any association with Hussein Obama as having demonstrated independence from their “president,” and voted on the issues regardless of the pressure or wishes of the White House occupant.
That is simply not true, and he knows it when he says it. Obama has based his “presidency” on lying to the American people, from the moment he raised his hand swearing an oath to the Constitution. His minions are doing the same.

Minion Manchin identifies Mary Landrieu (D-LA), Mark Begich (D-AK), Kay Hagan (D-NC), Mark Pryor, (D-AR), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Mark Udall (D-CO) and Mark Warner (D-VA) as “reach across the aisle” moderates who are willing to work with Republicans or Independents to find solutions for America.
Manchin’s assertions are demonstrably false. The Senators he mentioned vote with Obama most of the time and bear no resemblance at all to anything moderate. Obama is an extreme liberal and they have supported his extreme anti-American liberal policies without question.
North Carolina’s Kay Hagan voted in support of the Obama position 96% of the time. Alaska Senator Mark Begich voted with Hussein Obama 97% of the time. Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu’s record put her in the Obama column with 97% of her votes. Colorado Senator Mark Udall and New Hampshire’s Jeanne Shaheen each voted with Hussein Obama 99% of the time.
Mark Pryor of Arkansas, who was mentioned almost in sort of an afterthought kind of way, only voted with Obama 90% of the time. Maybe Manchin feels Pryor can extricate himself with “only” a nine to one voting record seeming almost moderate compared to the lock-step obedience displayed by his subservient colleagues.
Charlie Rose asks him how different these supposed moderates are in their positions from the “president,” and Manchin falls back upon the reliable Democrat tactics of changing the question and citing personal anecdotes instead of actual verifiable facts as a basis for supporting an argument.
He claims that Obama can’t help these senators because they have voted in opposition to his policies, which is untrue. Obama can’t help them because they are unpopular for the same reasons, saddling the American people with destructive legislation.
He says that these are the people who speak up in opposition to Obama. They might speak up once in a while, but they certainly don’t vote in opposition. They are money in the bank for any Obama socialist agenda item.
The video below from Townhall Media illustrates the difference between the claims of Manchin and the reality he was sent out to distort. It is set to a backdrop of the obamacare vote, but clearly illustrates with each vote cast the record of compliance with the Obama mandate, all of them are clearly little more than obedient figureheads, voting as they are told.
