Donald Trump made it very clear last night that he is disgusted with Washington. Unluckily for Hillary Clinton, she is the standard-bearer for the Washington establishment and he didn’t let her forget it.

He spoke to the plight of the middle class and hammered big, clumsy government and tax increases as the cause.

“You have regulations on top of regulations and new companies cannot form, and old companies are going out of business,” he railed, and what was her response?

To drive people to her website. There is no better way to let the beleaguered middle class know that they are not worth her time.

Hillary Rodham Clinton does not have the common touch.

Trump does.

“You go to New England, you go to Ohio, Pennsylvania, you go anywhere you want, Secretary Clinton, and you will see devastation where manufacturing is down 30, 40, sometimes down 50 percent.” He went on, “Now, you want to approve Trans Pacific Partnership. You were totally in favor of it ... (before you weren’t).” As Hillary attempted to squirm from her previous position, Trump talked over her, “You called it the Gold Standard!”

Hillary was quick to try to change the subject and she mentioned a man in the crowd whom Trump had supposedly “stiffed” on some work.

His response was wonderfully relatable to many: “Maybe he didn’t do a good job and I was unsatisfied with his work, which our country should do, too.”

When Hillary went smug, Trump went real, saying things like, “It’s all words. It’s all sound bytes.”

More Trump on Hillary’s establishment: “They talk good around election time.” He sounds more like Rocky Balboa than a politician.

Everybody loves Rocky.

Hillary repeatedly called on “fact checkers” to mobilize. It sounded like what it was — an appeal to the complicit media to join the battle on her behalf.

Trump won the evening last night in the first 30 minutes. He scored so many points in the first quarter that you can put that debate in the win column.

Hillary Clinton can lie like a dog on national television in a debate, lie to a Benghazi victim's mother in person to her face, lie to the FBI, lie to Congress, lie to the public every single time she opens her mouth, and then "Celebrate!", "Celebrate!", "Celebrate!", because she thinks she got away with it.

Perception is Everything. I am looking at a conservative forum here where most of them are panning Trump, saying he didn't rise above Hillary's lowball tactics. But we are in a very liberal state---maybe people elsewhere think differently? At any rate----with the out of control federal bureaucracy, illegal aliens coming from the four corners of the world to rip us off, ACLU lawyers acting like they own the country and can tell governments what to do, and ten cent military powers like Iran warning us to buzz off, I can only hope that the answer to all of this in 2017 is:
