Mark Levin: 'Politically Correct' Liberals Should Call Them 'Anchor Fetuses'

During an appearance on WMAL’s Mornings on The Mall program Friday, Mark Levin said that the term “anchor babies” is an inappropriate term and that liberals would prefer the term “anchor fetuses.”
“I think it’s a inappropriate term. I don’t mean to shock you, but if you’re a liberal and you’re politically correct it should be ‘anchor fetuses’,” Levin said.
“Because remember, they are not babies until they’re born. So I don’t even know why we’re talking about babies here. You know, they fund Planned Parenthood, they believe in harvesting their organs. So if you are a liberal the proper term should be ‘anchor fetus’. Don’t worry about the word ‘anchor’; your problem is with the word ‘baby’.
“Liberals are always trying to change the language in order to marginalize those with whom they disagree in order to advance their agenda, and we should resist this.”
Levin continued, “There is nothing offensive about the phrase ‘anchor baby’ –I don’t care what the dictionary says. Why is this an issue? Because we all know what anchor babies create. What? Chain migration. Chain migration has been in effect since 1965 when Ted Kennedy pushed for it – it became part of the Great Society.
“You need an anchor baby who eventually becomes of age and when that child becomes of age, he or she can start saying, ‘Okay I want this relative here and that relative here’ and they all get to the front of the line. So we have chain migration.
“This is another way we cannot control what goes on in this country. We have a misreading of the 14th Amendment, then we have anchor babies, then we have families coming into the country. People are determining on their own if they are citizens of the United States or not. We have no say about it.
“Now that’s an absurdity, isn’t it?”
