MARK LEVIN: Republicans should pass resolution declaring NULL AND VOID all unconstitutional presidential acts

Mark Levin says he thought long and hard about what the House of Representatives can do, given that they won’t use the power of the purse to reign in this president, and has come up with a solution. He says they should pass a resolution declaring null and void all presidential acts that are unconstitutional.
    Hey lays it out below:
There’s something the House of Representatives actually can do. …Congress is a co-equal branch of the federal government and the House of Representatives is a co-equal branch of the United States Senate. The House of Representatives should pass a resolution. If the president of the United States can unconstitutionally assert powers he is not granted under the Constitution and do so repeatedly and brazenly, and send his staff out to the mainstream media outlets to do the same thing, then one body of our government must act.
And as John Boehner is fond of saying…we’re only one half of one third of the federal government. And yet, you are part of a co-equal branch. And there is something you can do Mr. Boehner. And there is something you can do, Republicans in the House of Representatives.
I want to recommend, since you will not use the power of the purse -and even more you won’t use the power of impeachment— you pass a resolution that says something to this effect:
Whereas the president of the United States has asserted executive powers not granted to him under the United States Constitution, the United States House of Representatives hereby asserts, as an equal governing institution, that all such acts by the president of the United States are null and void. The House of Representatives further asserts that no federal department, federal official, or federal employee is authorized to appropriate any sum of taxpayer dollars in furtherance of any unconstitutional act by the president of the United States.
So now the House of Representatives can assert its power. Now the House of Representatives can get back in the game. This doesn’t require impeachment, which they are not going to do. This is an assertion by the House of Representatives —whether the Democrats in the House like it or not; whether Harry Reid and the Democrats in the Senate like it or not; whether Barack Obama and his administration like it or not— that the House of Representatives is declaring null and void presidential acts that are done in violation of the Constitution, usurping Article I of the Constitution, and eviscerating separation of powers under the Constitution.
“Well Mark, Mark who will decide?”
The House of Representatives will decide just as Obama claims all the power to make decisions about what he’s doing.
