TALK WITH LOCAL I.C.E AGENT IN EAST TENN.

I spoke with a local I.C.E. Agent today who had the following to say. I call every now and then to see what these folks think about legistlation and to see what they think about the situation as a whole. I let them know that I am not with the media and give them my name.

The proposal to do background checks on all those illegals who are permitted to stay in country is a joke. Mexico, like most third world countries, do not have a system in place for these background checks to take place. The agent said they would actually have to travel to each and every hometown of the illegal in question. They, of course, don't have the manpower to do this. This means these background checks are nothing but fluff, something to make us feel good. We will have no idea what crimminals will be coming or staying here.

He said that they were told from the "top" not to enforce our immigraion laws in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina and this would continue until these areas were re-built.

He said the amnesty of 1986 allowed more than 2 million illegals to enter the country when they had estimated that only 200,000 would come in.

He said illegals cross the border during shift changes, thus making it near impossible to catch the hundreds who come over at this time.

He said they are coming in waves now due to the possibility of amnesty.

He said the $2000. fine is a joke because illeagals are more than willing to pay this fine, rather than having to pay their travel expenses back to here.

He said the proposed increase in border patrol agents, the feel good mantra, is nothing but smoke and mirrors. They will be authorized on paper, but never funded fully or acted upon. Sounds good to the public though.

He said there has been no employer sanctions since 1995 and that most employers do not take taxes from illegals pay.

During the 2000 election he said, again, that they were directed from "the top" to not enforce our immirgration laws during the electioin. Said this directive came from top officials from BOTH parties.

Said the Agricultural Worker Program is a joke. Illegals are required to work at least 90 days. They will work 90 days and then take off for better paying jobs, which means more illegals are needed to fill these positions, which means an endless stream of illegals continue to come into the country to do this work.

Lastly he said that he writes often to our elected officials and what we are hearing on t.v. just isn't true. Said we hear that there are eleven million illegals here, said that number should be doubled.

It simply has to be more than 20 million. They have been using that figure for the last 6 years.

Thanks Crocket. Welcome and that was an excellent post.
Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...

What part of "We don't owe our jobs to India" are you unable to understand, Senator?

When things like this happen, they should be investigated. That directive came from the top of a conspiracy.

    Conversation with I.CE. Agent

I relay all conversations that I have with I.C.E. Agents to my congressman, Jimmy Duncan, or his staffer, Scott Fisher. Duncan is a Sensenbrener/Tancredo/Buchanan clone. I feel as though I am preaching to the choir when I talk to Duncan. We need many more like him.

    Crockett,

Does Duncan ever respond to your ICE emails? If so, what does he have to say about it?

The "Guest Worker" plan, which has the background checks referred to, is apparently ENTIRELY the creation of big business and agricultural interests. Companies like Wal-Mart got together, thought up the plan and started lobbying for it. President Bush soon started supporting it and it grew from there.

Now many Senators seem to believe Kennedy and McCain came up with the "Guest Worker" plan with the best interests of the USA at heart. That is false!

The Minutemen also mentioned the big surge in illegal immigration since Senator's Kennedy and McCain announced they were supporting the "Guest Worker" plan. The Minutemen said the situation is worse in the border area they are patrolling than last year - I presume they mean in Arizona. Their group of 200 Minutemen had something like 250 encounters with illegals in only 48 hours!

Please support Senator John Cornyn and the House bill - they are the only ones who seem to have AMERICA'S best interest at heart!

    Duncan and I.C.E Agents

Whenever I have contacted Congressman Duncan's office, or Scott Fisher, Scott has always shown a great interest in what I have had to say, shows his disgust and very pointedly tells me that he will be sure to let Duncan and Tancredo know of my revelations.

As far as responding to my conversations, Congressman Duncan always responds with a letter. As mentioned earlier I am preaching to the choir when I approach Duncan about illegal immigration. He is on an immigration committee of some sorts with Tancredo I believe and feels just as strongly as I do about the topic. Heard him the other day on the radio say that those who are protesting and carrying Mexican flags should go back to Mexico. He is very conservative, tough on taxes, pork, foreign aid, favors English as our national language, the FAIR tax, voted against going into Iraq, etc.

I can only hope that my information does some good.
