If McCain was smart, he would say he that when he becomes president that he would build a double fence, put the military on the border, and send all the illegals home...And no amnesty ever! But he's not smart and he's going to lose to Hillary! :x

Can you believe the conservative American people are falling for McCain? A perfect example of how disasterous his immigration stance is to our country is the fact that Mexican politicians in mexico are aware of it and like it. Here is an example as reported by the Border Patrol Assn. which was reported in a Mexican newspaper:
El Imparcial (Hermosillo, Sonora) 2/6/08
Eduardo Bours, the governor of the state of Sonora, Mexico, said he supports Republican senator John McCain for the presidency of the United States. "I believe that it will always be positive, there is no way that someone can understand the immigration issue, the issue of border security, such as someone from the border can." "McCain understands it, the most interesting immigration proposal in the Congress of the United States is McCain's proposal, he is the one who has advanced these proposals the most."
If I hear him say "my friends" again, I am going to scream!!
Hannity comes on at 4:00 here, I am listening to him now.
He does not make promises to Americans that he does not intend to keep.
The Clintons will knock him on his butt and mop up the floor with him.
I'm going to have to give this a lot of thought. I feel sick and am totally confused as to what the next step will be, there is certainly NO ONE currently running that I will vote for, ever.
I'm sure there will be dancing in the streets and a great celebration in third world mexico this evening.
Hannity said he will remain a principled, independent conservative, and that he's re-registering as a conservative.
Sean says: "Trust but verify" talk about Lieberman talked about as VP, this will not help conservatives.
Sean says he will fight very hard for secure borders.
Agree with MCain where he can, but if MCain goes in other areas where he disagrees, Sean will fight. Notes, how McCain acknowledges he needs conservative base.
Caller to show: said he's disgusted when McCain say "my friend" and that he sounds like Juan Hernandez.
Another caller: nothing in McCain's speech moved me, mentions illegal immigration
More people need to see McCains connection with Juan Hernandez!
another caller to Hannity: not buying McCain's speech, but will vote for McCain is he's the nominee. But this caller is worried that McCain cannot unite the base.
Another sheep! :(Quote:
