    SAN JOSE
-- Dozens of fights broke out on the streets of downtown San Jose on Thursday night as police in riot gear struggled to keep the peace between hundreds of protesters and streams of Donald Trump fans leaving his rally at the city's convention center.

Protesters jumped on cars, while others burned red "Make America Great" hats and took selfies with the charred remains. Demonstrators waved Mexican flags as Trump supporters shouted at them to "go back to Mexico."

At the height of the biggest and most violent political protest San Jose has seen in decades, hundreds of people clashed with police and Trump supporters. One young woman was struck in the forehead by a flying metal parking barricade, and police were pelted with traffic cones and water bottles.

Police helicopters circled overhead for more than two hours, commanding the crowds to disperse, while police from numerous Bay Area agencies marched through the heart of downtown San Jose, containing protesters along Park Avenue, Almaden Boulevard and San Carlos Street.

Earlier, inside the convention hall, Trump supporters chanted "Build that wall, build that wall," as the candidate repeated his call to erect a concrete wall on the border with Mexico.

During the rally, Trump was uncharacteristically tempered with two protesters who made it inside the hall, including one who stood near the front of the crowd holding a Bernie Sanders sign.

"Darling," Trump said, "there's no way he can win, but keep your sign high."

To another, he told security to "leave him alone. Don't hurt him. See the way I said that? I've learned."

Exactly who was involved in the violence outside and where they were from remains unclear, but numerous members of the crowd were Latinos from East San Jose who said they opposed the violence and condemned Trump for touting racism.

"San Jose is populated mostly by immigrants and Donald Trump has inspired hate," said Miguel Ayala, 20, from San Jose: "I'm all about love."
Ariana Romero, 21, also from San Jose, said Trump is degrading all hard-working immigrants with his rhetoric.

"I work hard and have my own place and pay my own bills," Romero said, "and because of this man people look down on me and think I'm just another statistic -- all because of his hate. Why would we want someone like that to run this country?"

She said she came to peacefully protest, "but just doing dangerous things isn't helping. It makes it look like we are doing it for the hell of it."

San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo criticized Trump for coming to cities and igniting problems that local police departments have to deal with.

"Our police officers have done an extremely courageous and professional job so far," Liccardo told The Associated Press Thursday night. "At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign."

Arnold Morales, who drove down from Redwood City with his 11-year-old son, said: "I came to protest Donald Trump, not to get in the middle of this. This is really, really stupid. There's a lot of people like me, but everyone will just focus on the four crazy ones. That diminishes the message."

Cindy Zurita, 23, a student from East San Jose who works at a pharmacy, held a sign in the midst of the protest that read: "Mr Hate leave my state."

"We're here to support Latinos, black people; we're not rapists," she said, referring to Trump's characterization of Mexican immigrants on the day he announced his campaign. "I was born in Mexico. I am going to school, and I am working."

Less than an hour earlier, Trump used his first Bay Area rally to shoot back at Hillary Clinton, who declared earlier in the day that he was too "thin-skinned" to be commander in chief.

"I watched Hillary today. It was pathetic. It was so sad to watch," Trump told a crowd of about 4,000 that filled up about a third of the football-field-sized hall at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

"When you watch her today, she does not look presidential. This is not a president. Four more years of this stuff and we're not going to have a country anymore."

Trump's was responding to Clinton's scathing speech in San Diego, during which she mocked his foreign policy credentials and warned that he lacked the temperament to be entrusted with life and death decisions.

"Donald Trump's ideas aren't just different -- they are dangerously incoherent," Clinton said. "They're not even really ideas -- just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies."

The escalating war of words -- and the raging street battle in San Jose -- foreshadowed what appears certain to be a brutal presidential campaign that is already in high gear as Californians prepare to vote in Tuesday's presidential primary.

The San Jose Police Department had alerted officers on Wednesday that it would be all hands on deck to keep the peace. Tickets were issued for 7,500 people and the huge hall appeared about half full.

"Look how many people we have here tonight," he said, noting that he was competing with the Golden State Warriors playing in the NBA Finals. "This is unbelievable."

Many people in attendance adorned themselves in red, white and blue and hoisted Trump signs. One woman in the thick of the crowd held a sign saying "Mexican Millennial Woman 4 Trump." Another read "Muslims for Trump."

The crowd included retired engineers and teachers, military veterans, students and blue-collar workers. Many echoed the sentiment of Trump supporters across the country: They like his brash talk and his promises to build a wall along the Mexican border and create more American jobs.

"I've never see anything like this in California and I'm glad someone is here representing Republicans in California," said Carlo Mecozzi, a 28-year-old accountant from Santa Cruz wearing the Trump "Make America Great Again" ball cap.

If Clinton's broadside Thursday was an attempt to turn Trump's bombast into a liability, he showed no sign of toning down his stump speech.

Trump eviscerated Clinton over her email scandal, insisting that she was cozying up to President Barack Obama to avoid jail time. "Hillary Clinton used to hate Obama," he said. "Now, it's 'Yes, sir. Mr. President sir.' Folks, honestly, she is guilty as hell. The fact that they even allow her to participate in this race is a disgrace to the United States."

Trump's visit to San Jose -- his only Bay Area stop -- comes as he is barnstorming the state ahead of Tuesday's primary, where he has no competition and Clinton is facing an insurgent challenge from Sanders.

Trump called Sanders "a nut job," moments before insisting that many of his supporters will back him in November. "Bernie Sanders and I agree on one thing that the U.S. is getting ripped off on trade," he said.

Trump also insisted that he will contest California despite recent polls that show him trailing either Democrat by double digits.

"I've been told by all these brilliant guys you can't win California," he said. "I think we can. And if we win California, the election is over. We win. And then we will make America great again.

    Believe me."

The illegal alien protesters are making a mockery of us for all the world to see and this violence
    should not be tolerated!

We the people, need to demand our police authorities to take serious action by making arrest and
therefore sending a clear message the intimidation and violence will not be tolerated.

San Jose is a cesspool. They filed bankruptcy because of the inept city council members. Millions lost. Neighborhoods taken over by illegals, the entire State of CA is a mess and Jerry "moonbeam" Brown is an acid casualty of the 60's, that's why they call him "moonbeam". This is coming to a neighborhood near you...we need to stop this invasion and corrupt Dem and Obama agenda. Not funny folks, this is out of control.

Look at Europe...donate to Alipac now...we need to stand together...this is front and center with Trump...we CANNOT let this go by another 4 years...another 4 days...another 4 hours!!!

Donald Trump Supporters Terrorized By Raging Mobs In San Jose – A Democrat Mayor and Police Chief Watched It All…

Posted on June 3, 2016 by sundance

I warn you in advance the brutality on these videos is very disturbing. This is what we predict the MSM will spend all day avoiding.

Violence the mainstream media support, they call speech.
Speech mainstream media does not support, they call violence.

Last evening in San Jose California a violent mob of several hundred were allowed by the San Jose Police Department and Democrat San Jose Mayor to attack Donald Trump supporters as they were leaving the rally venue.

Now, I strongly welcome anyone to challenge the wording emphasized in the above paragraph because what you are about to see is clear evidence the local San Jose authorities ALLOWED this violence/terrorist activity to occur.

San Jose is a sanctuary city for illegal aliens. Remember, all of these videos took place within sight of the San Jose police department, the police officers therein, and the San Jose police Chief Eddie Garcia. According to his own statements, Chief Garcia spent two full days preparing his officers and leadership for the event. He was right there on scene, at the mobile command center. Garcia watch this all as it took place.

Lets start with this video from last night (It’s only 15 seconds) A rally attendee is walking away from the convention center:

The Mayor. San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo is a party Democrat who held a campaign event last week for Hillary Clinton. In responding to the brutality last night he blamed Donald Trump and his supporters for not accepting the beatings with more appreciation:
(via AP) The mayor, a Democrat and Hillary Clinton supporter, criticized Trump for coming to cities and igniting problems that local police departments had to deal with.
“At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign,” Liccardo said.
This was Mayor Sam Liccardo (mexican heritage) last week:

Mr. Liccardo was not on hand to greet republican candidate Donald Trump. Exactly the opposite, Mr. Liccardo told his police chief, Garcia, to ensure that candidate Trump found an inhospitable venue.

Police Chief Eddie Garcia did exactly what he was instructed.

Here is video of two locations again only a few steps away from police. The attacks were so brutal and dangerous the media was even calling 911 to report the violence. However, the 911 calls were unanswered, and the San Jose Police Department were directly on scene watching:

The female rally attendee who was walking toward the Marriott hotel, when she was set upon by a hoard of approximately 100 Mexican flag waving mob members.

Another guest in the hotel began taping footage of the mob from the inside looking out. The Marriott had clerks acting as guards and were holding the doors closed in a feeble attempt to provide security. The Marriott did not have additional security because the San Jose Police Department was stationed outside. Let that sink in as you watch this:

The Marriott hotel is less than a block away from the convention center where the rally was held. In the background of the mob approximately 10 police officers are shown standing and watching.

According to CNN Reporter Sara Murray, this woman got what she deserved. After all, she was taunting the raging mob:

This is how the Associated Press is reporting on the events:
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP)— A group of protesters attacked Donald Trump supporters who were leaving the presidential candidate’s rally in San Jose on Thursday night. A dozen or more people were punched, at least one person was pelted with an egg and Trump hats grabbed from supporters were set on fire on the ground.

Police stood their ground at first but after about 90 minutes moved into the remaining crowd to break it up and make arrests. At least four people were taken into custody, though police didn’t release total arrest figures Thursday night. One officer was assaulted, police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said.
There were no immediate reports of injuries and no major property damage, police said. (read more)
This is what Trump supporters exited the convention center to find at the conclusion of the rally:

This is something I expect in a third world dirt hole, not the United States! These folks have totally embarrassed the city and California.

Americans need to recognize what a threat illegal aliens are, not only to our jobs, economy, workers, taxpayers, students and coffers, they're a threat to our political system.

Sanctuary cities across America are not exactly that bad - the level of Un-Americanism displayed in San Jose Ca is prophetic though. Perhaps San Jose should be bought for mucho $$$ by the gov't of mexico and be rid of them and let them pay for the social services of their "exploding babies".
