Sessions needs to play hardball with Rahm Emanuel-prosecute him under 8 U.S.C. § 1324

    .

    See: Title 8, U.S.C. 1324(a) Offenses

Harboring -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii) makes it an offense for any person who -- knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation.

Encouraging/Inducing -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv) makes it an offense for any person who -- encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law.

Conspiracy/Aiding or Abetting -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(v) expressly makes it an offense to engage in a conspiracy to commit or aid or abet the commission of the foregoing offenses.

Isn’t it time for Jefferson Sessions to start playing hardball with government officials who are violating our immigration laws and harboring illegal entrants? Sessions needs to have federal Marshalls pay a visit to Rahm Emanuel and perp walk him into custody for violating the above federal laws!

American citizens are sick and tired of being made into tax-slaves to finance a maternity ward for the poverty stricken populations of other countries who invade America’s borders to give birth.

Thank you, Johnwk, for posting that -

We have all the laws we need to fix this problem. Why isn't the President using them?

Rather than try to get congress to grow a backbone and pass some law - why not use the ones we have.

Even better, let them wrangle, discuss, play games and while everyone is focused on that, get on with the enforcement.

The same goes for all these states that pretend they are trying to do something about illegals. Believe me, it's smoke and mirrors. The state officials get their goodies from the same people Washington does and that's not the people.

What I can't understand is why those who are actively harboring illegal entrants are not being prosecuted. Lock the SOBs up!

    I'm with you -

The only thing I can come up with is that it is more lucrative - or safe- for them to continue to not enforce or actually block those laws.

Someone may be meeting with them and 'discussing their grandchildren'.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel and City Council flout law against harboring illegal entrants

    .
See: Emanuel's municipal ID plan for immigrants approved despite opposition

”Mayor Rahm Emanuel's plan to create a municipal identification card for people living here illegally and others sailed through the City Council on Wednesday, but not before a handful of aldermen voiced displeasure with the idea.

Emanuel, who sees the ID as a way to show he's standing up to the federal government and President Donald Trump's promise to crack down on people living in the U.S. illegally, spoke in favor of the plan during the 40 minutes of debate that preceded the 44-4 vote.”

And just what does federal statutory law say with regard to Rahm Emanuel’s actions which encourages and induces illegal entrants to come to, enter and/or reside in Chicago?

    See: Title 8, U.S.C. 1324(a) Offenses

In addition, what does federal law state with regard to those on the City Council who voted in favor of Rahm Emanuel’s municipal ID card?

Conspiracy/Aiding or Abetting -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(v) expressly makes it an offense to engage in a conspiracy to commit or aid or abet the commission of the foregoing offenses.

Why doesn’t Jefferson Sessions grow a spine, have arrest warrants issued and send forth federal Marshals to Chicago to arrest Rahm Emanuel and his accomplices for violating federal statutory law? Let a jury decide their guilt or innocents. Either enforce federal law or repeal it.

You know the hypocrisy in all this 'protecting the illegal' is just so blatant.

Most, of the crimes these illegals commit are against other illegals. These seldom get reported.

So keeping a 'safe place' for these illegal criminals where they will be concentrated in larger numbers, just puts everyone at risk, but primarily the other illegals.

This just goes to show that there already are laws on the books about illegal immigration, and nothing is done about it. The mayors of these sanctuary cities need to be imprisoned for breaking the law, in aiding and abetting/harboring illegal aliens. We are a country of laws. We can't just go around picking and choosing which laws are ok for us to follow and which ones aren't. If that were the case, someone could go kill someone tomorrow and say that they don't like that law against killing people and chose not to follow it. Would we say.."Ok, you're free to go since that law against killing people isn't to your liking"? It's insane.

    So true.

Anytime you allow a law or laws to be systematically, blatantly, and publicly broken, with the governments' support, all other laws become less absolute.
