    Why Is It Controversial?

Why is it that so many Americans seem to not understand the danger of flooding our country will illegal aliens? Why don't they understand the principle of holding to the rule of law? Why are they accepting the fiction that illegals only do jobs the rest of us are too lazy to do? Why are so many people not shocked and offended by the sight of militant people storming through out streets screaming in Spanish and brandishing foreign flags? Why don't they see what's wrong with rendering a country's national anthem in another language and using it for political reasons? Why have I heard some people say they're "exhilarated" by seeing illegal alien protesters? What has become of our patriotism? When did we lose our common sense? Am I having a bad dream? If I am, somebody please, slap me awake. I want to wake up!

Let me add to your list: Why is it controversial to create and enforce laws that protect the citizens of this country?? That's the mindboggler for me.

How could anyone object to building a sturdy fence on our border that would defend us, at least for the most part, from drugs, violence, invaders??

To see members of the US Senate stand there and make statements that show their only real concern is the welfare of people who are not citizens absolutely appalls me...why aren't their phone lines on fire?? Why hasn't their fax machine burned out? Why aren't their ears cauliflowered from the abuse the citizens are pouring on them?

Good heavens...time go go home, Snoopy....

    Stuff,
I see it all! It makes me sick that the people we hired to speak on our behalf, left us stranded.
I hate it, all of it. Illegals DEMANDING rights. If this happened maybe 25 years ago, we would have jailed everyone of them. But it wouldnt have happened 25 years ago because, believe it or not, America was the most respected nation in the world.
These invaders are right up in our face, telling us to get out.
We apparently 'stole' their land, and now that we have made it into one of the best countries in the world, they want to take it away from us.
[b]WE HAVE A BUNCH OF GOOD FOR NOTHING REPRESENTATIVES, THAT BASICALLY ARE NOT PERFORMING THEIR DUTIES. IF THEY CAME WITH A WARRANTY, I WOULD HAVE TRADED THEM IN FOR ANOTHER MODEL.
RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends

    Why Is It Controversial?

I think the phone lines of many Senators ARE on fire, but we aren't being told that by the news media. I detect an extreme corporate bias in the news toward illegal alien amnesty. On some radio and TV stations, you hardly hear any opposing voices. But please don't stop raising your voice. I haven't! Personally, I've never written so many angry emails as I have in the last few weeks.

Last month calling Senator Feinstein's office, her aides sounded bored on the phone. This week they were really testy,I think they are getting bombarded with angry calls. Her aide got really upset when I said as a registered Democrat I was no longer going to support the Senator and would vote against her from here on out because of her stand on illegal immigration. The aide started blabbering about how the Senator didn't support the boycott etc etc..

I think some people think, so what? If illegals want to work for cheap labor, and one can get away with paying less for the same amount of work, then why not?

You know, get the maximum work for a minimum price. Or, why not save a buck if you can.

Also, I don't think many ppl associate many of the problems we have in this country right now, with the invasion of illegal aliens.
    [b]
ie. low wages, higher taxes due to social services, American kids being "dumbed down" in our public schools because the teachers are too busy to teach our children, for dealing with the Non English speaking children.

Others see illegals and think ,they are hard workers, and they don't bother anyone so let them be. Many don't realize or don't care, that the illegals are being used for cheap labor. They think, no one is making them work for low wages.

Then there are others who don't pay enough attention to what's going on around them to even be aware that, if Americans were paid decent wages, you would see more Americans working in the fields, cleaning houses, and doing all the other jobs illegals do for low wages.

Still other Americans are not physically,or directly effected by their invasion, therefore they can turn a blind eye,,,, for now
Then all of a sudden, they themselves or their friends and love ones start to feel the effects of illegal invasions and then it's will be a whole different story.

Also, there are ppl who will come out and tell you, "what difference does it make" the government does what they want to do once elected, and to"heck" with what the ppl want. And that is true, no one is fighting for the working class citizens.

The above used to be me, but not anymore. Even if we lose, I can proudly say, I put up a good fight... at least until November

It is usually those types of ppl, who feel that people like us, who want to enforce our immigration laws and secure our borders are racist, need a life, or are just plain mean.

Since I think these congresscritters are going to try to flim flam us and not do anything about this situation until after the election, I hope we don't stop after November.

I hope we continue no matter what they say or do. There is nothing that says we can't continue to boycott their employers.

Even if our government sell us out, we can still work together to cut out their jobs. If they don't have jobs, they will still go home - amnesty or no.
