Mike Pence must think the American people are a bunch of idiots. A private built and operated “Ellis Island” is a joke. Anything short of illegals going back to their homeland and applying for citizenship is “amnesty.”

“Earned citizenship” is another joke. $2,000 fine paid over 11 years is a piece of cake. They get more than that in tax breaks. That is not a fine for illegals that have committed felonies it should be jail time. How can you send then back who have been here less that 2 or 5 years. They all have “anchor” babies to secure their stay here. The 14th amendment has to be changed.
11 years to learn English? And they get to remain in this country, work and use our social services and compete for jobs with Americans. What else will the senate and house give them? There is nothing left. But have no fear m my brothers and sisters, there are those who are hearing our voice loud and clear and are working their butts off for us. Don’t give up. Keep letting them know how you feel and how much they are appreciated.

The back tax dollar amount is an insult. I have a friend who works at the IRS office.
I had her run some numbers for me.

If a citizen didn't pay taxes for 5 years, and this citizen is earning a gross salary of $30,000 /yr, would have to pay over $28,000 in back taxes, penalties, interest, etc.

Again, the $2,000 back tax "penalty" illegals would have to pay is a damn joke.

I AGREE with both of you. Pence thinks we are idiots and has insulted out intelligence. Add to that list Bush and Frist who also take us for idiots.

I STILL haven't heard how these people are going to get "health care". WE will have to deal with THAT TOO.

Will someone please tell me HOW we can get an ACCURATE background check from Mexico ?? Seriously, is it possible ? Everything will be through word of mouth and sworn statements ?

I do not know WHY we are paying for all this health insurance. The cost of the health insurance we are carrying is very, very high. Then even on top of the health insurance premium the bills you still get are still very high. Health care is a very hard thing and impossible for many Americans.

I'm wondering how we can become illegal aliens. It's looking more and more like the best route to take.

Maybe ALL health care facilities, doctors etc. in America should be made to lower their charges. Let's face it, the hospital administrators are living like KINGS and the doctors are living like KINGS and the insurance company CEO's and top administrators are living like KINGS.

Let's pass a bill to make them STOP getting rich off of SICK PEOPLE.

WHY NOT ? They ask enough of US, let's tell them we've had enough. We should cancel our health insurance and do it the illegal alien way until ALL of us have affrodable health care.

Let them see that we are not going to provide health care to illegal aliens when the American people are getting raked over the coals everytime they get sick.

Many people WITH health insurance STILL avoid going to the Dr. because they still get billed heavily.

I am so tired of the congress and senate trying to scam the American people, it is disgusting and tiresome. They think they are so smart and we are a bunch of idiots - well maybe we are for voting those incompetents into office.
