Kidnapping is an ancient sport designed to generate cash,

Kidnapping is an ancient sport designed to generate cash, embarrass your enemies, find wives and/or force political action. Of the 8000 known kidnappings worldwide, 6500 were in Latin America with over half occurring in Colombia. http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/TPS_2May07.pdf There are, on average, ten people kidnapped in Colombia every day. When we give amnesty to illegal’s in this country of ours. We are encouraging this type of activity in the USA – To ad injury to insult our Government wants to introduce a guess worker card To South America.
Too anyone in America if you own a home have a bank account or you are as they say Middle class keep your Children at home do not take the same route to work each day,
Keep a cell phone on you (hidden) and silent – keep your car keys close to your bed (if any thing starts happening you can push the horn button to activate you car horn to draw attention to you and your house). As a Correctional Officer we teach new hires to play the What If Game. Just as you teach your kids over and over what to do incase of a fire.
Most likely if there is a fire they do as they have been taught.
We teach new C/O’s what will you do when and if you are attacked. The chances of doing what they went over and over in there mind is Greater that they will do what they have been taught. Kidnappings in South America is common and mostly for money- sex – And the slave market. And that’s just one of the commodities Guest card Gangs will bring. I do recommend keeping a hand gun (legally and with the right training)
And a legal cut off 12 gauge by your bed (dose not take a great deal of aiming skills)
But that is left up to you the American home owner only you know what is best in that area. When will we get our law’s enforced – when will we get more that 2 INS officers per county? If I remember correctly I asked a Police Officer would they raid a company looking for Illegal immigrants. He told me no… it was a job for INS Bureau of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/TPS_2May07.pdf

As if parents aren't already stretched to the max that now they have to worry about this as well. I cannot stomach what I'm seeing happening in this country.

Thanks for the tips.....never thought about the horn thing on the keys.

    Welcome too!
