Nancy Pelosi Rejects Enforcing Immigration Laws; ‘What’s The Point?’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues to make excuses for her refusal to do her job and produce legislation to solve the nation’s illegal immigration crisis and to point the finger at President Trump.
The septuagenarian Speaker Of The House moved quickly to stab Trump in the back after he temporarily backed down on actions by U.S. Immigration And Customs Enforcement to round up thousands of illegal immigrants who had defied deportation orders.

Ever the negotiator, the president put the deportations on hold at the behest of Pelosi.

At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. It was yet another in a series of good faith gestures that have been spat upon by Democrats to whom scoring a win against Trump is secondary to their desire to get as many potential future voters into the country as possible regardless of their worthiness to be productive citizens or respect for immigrants who respect the law by adhering to the process.
In a stunning admission of how little that the spiteful Dem leader cares about American citizens and the rule of law, a stammering Pelosi poo-poohed the idea of even bothering with “interior enforcement.” Instead, she spewed more rhetoric that compared ICE agents to the Gestapo or similar fascist goons who would kick down doors to get at little children.

Pelosi’s sad remarks came during a Monday Town Hall meeting as reported by the Washington Free Beacon:

While discussing immigration at a town hall on Monday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) asked her audience, “what’s the point?” of enforcing immigration with the United States’ bounds.
“When I saw the president was going to have these raids, it’s so appalling, it’s outside the realm of civilized human behavior, just kicking down doors and splitting up families in addition to the injustices that are happening at the border,” she said. “We have legislation to go forward to address those needs. But in terms of interior enforcement, what’s the point?”Pelosi went on to say that she would not pursue the question further, as this was not a “political event.”Trump announced Saturday that he would hold off on planned ICE raids on illegal immigration populations in sanctuary cities.

It should be evident to most careful observers by now that Nervous Nancy is frustrated over the smoldering dud of the Mueller Report as well as the impeachment conundrum and her ongoing loss of control over the AOC-led insurgency.
How much more obvious does it get that Pelosi is no longer mentally capable of carrying out her official duties?

Not only is she incapable of articulating a reason why immigration law shouldn’t be enforced, but she has also allowed Ocasio-Cortez to give advice to illegal immigrants on how to best avoid being taken into custody.
