Her point is that there are no such thing as illegal aliens because we’re already one nation, so the illegals are really just American citizens who were living on the other side of that meaningless border thingy.

This was today on her much-vaunted visit to the border over the current crisis of foreign youth storming it, to view the shelters Obama is warehousing them in on the way to making them citizens and Democrat voters.

Nancy Pelosi at Illegal Immigrant Holding Facility “We’re All Americans” (Video)

Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, June 28, 2014, 1:30 PM

Minority leader Nancy Pelosi visited the border on Saturday. The former Speaker made a statement to reporters,
“I wish I could take all those children home with me… We’re all Americans in this hemisphere, North and South Amrerica.”
    KGBT reported:

    Breitbart reported:
Saturday at a press conference from the Rio Grande Valley, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) discussed her tour of a border holding facility and addressed the humanitarian crisis of thousands unaccompanied minors flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border, which she called a “humanitarian opportunity.”
Pelosi explained, “We are all Americans — north and south in this hemisphere,” and urged America to see this as not a crisis but an opportunity “to be helpful.” She also said she wished she could simply “take home” the thousands of children temporarily housed in the overburden facilities.

What would the damage be if we made Mexico into the 51st state?
Our only alternative is to defend the border, seal the border, deport all the illegals or make Mexico a 51st state. To do nothing would be more disastrous.

Nancy Pelosi Calls The Humanitarian Crisis At The US Border An 'Opportunity'
    Business Insider

    House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-California) traveled down to Texas on Saturday, where she addressed the ongoing humanitarian crisis of thousands of unaccompanied children who have attempted to cross the border. Pelosi, using cautious language around the word "crisis," labeled the problem an "opportunity" for America to demonstrate its values. Many of the children have been kept in shocking conditions as federal officials scrambled to provide them basic necessities.
"This is a community with a border going through it. And this crisis — that some call a 'crisis' — we have to view as an opportunity," Pelosi told reporters at a press conference.
Pelosi stressed the children involved are worthy of basic human respect as they are being moved "as quickly as possible into another setting."
"What we just saw was so stunning. If you believe as we do that every child, that every person, has a spark of divinity in them and is therefore worthy of respect, what we saw in those rooms was [a] dazzling, sparkling array of God's children, worthy of respect. So ... we have to use the crisis — that some view as a crisis, and it does have crisis qualities — as an opportunity to show who we are as Americans, that we do respect people for their divinity and worth," she said.
