    Is President Trump selling out his base and embracing illegal immigration?

    .
    This evening, President Trump, contrary to a number of fake news reports earlier in the day, did not indicate he may have more compassion for those who have invaded America’s borders than he has for American Citizens who have be made into tax slaves to support the economic needs of millions of foreigners who have invaded America’s borders, and are suffering the devastating effects of illegal immigration.

    And just what are some of the devastating effects inflicted upon American citizens by illegal entrants? Aside from the criminal element which Trump seems to be genuinely concerned over and wants to address, millions of good paying jobs in the construction trades and other industries have been taken by illegal entrants who work off the books, below the going wage, and do not pay taxes on their eared wages. In addition, a considerable number of our nation’s emergency rooms have been bankrupted by illegal entrants. In Florida, nearly “one-third of Bethesda Hospital East’s 2,900 births each year are paid for by Emergency Medicaid, the category that covers mainly illegal immigrants.” See: How Undocumented Immigrants Sometimes Receive Medicaid Treatment

    The article also points out “A 2007 medical article in the Journal of the American Medical Association reported that 99 percent of those who used Emergency Medicaid during a four-year period in North Carolina were thought to be illegal immigrants.”

    Indeed, President Trump seems to have made the connection between the high cost of Medicaid and both illegal and legal immigration.

    In addition, how many of our local schools have been overwhelmed and financially destroyed trying to keep up with the massive influx of both legal and illegal immigration? See Chelsea Schools Overwhelmed By Sudden Influx Of Immigrant Students:

    June 24, 2014

    ”CHELSEA (CBS) – The national immigration crisis on the United States’ southern border is now impacting Massachusetts.

    Tens of thousands of children have come across the border on their own in the past year. Many of them are now finding their way to communities around Boston.

    Chelsea is ground zero for this wave of children, many undocumented immigrants, coming from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

    “There’s been a dramatic increase for us from January of this year through the closing of schools which was last week,” says Chelsea Schools Superintendent Dr. Mary Bourque.”

    Those who advocate legalizing the millions of illegal entrants who are now here so they can “come out of the shadows and pay taxes”, are in effect giving their nod of approval to the current devastating effects which these illegal entrants have, and are now, inflicting upon American citizens. This group would still, by-and large, if given legal status, be subsidized by American Citizens, they would still be working jobs which have been taken from American Citizens, their children would still be overwhelming our public schools and Emergency Rooms and Medicaid, and American Citizens would still be made into tax slaves to support the economic needs of this group which has invaded America’s borders.

    Keep in mind the next time you hear that we need “comprehensive immigration reform,” that is code for screw American Citizens and ignore our Constitution and the rule of law.

    We are here today and gone tomorrow, but what is most important is what we do in between, and is what our children will inherit and remember us by.

    Yes, it was all FAKE NEWS. Trump was Trump tonight, and to my great relief I believe will always be our dear Donald J Trump, now our Mr. President. I feel so bad that I doubted him. I really do. We still need to keep the pressure on about DACA though. That must end, now. Put it to bed. End the speculation. Terminate all new applications and renewals now. Put our minds at peace on this. It's not fair to US, the American People, to drag it out. We deserve better at this point.

    Great points. Thank you johnwk.

    Judy, I don't feel bad about being skeptical till the promise to end DACA occurs. Skepticism is to be expected and should inspire activism. We did not think he would continue an Obama program for amnesty.

    Yes, you're right. I'm not going to feel bad any more. I had to say what I had to say if he was going to do this and now anyone who reads our forum that writes or prints or researches for Trump or the Congress will know straight-up if they try any crap with US, the blowback will be HUUUUGE and fatal to their political careers. I think we made that clear!

    A common sense policy to deal with illegal immigrants and immigration

    All that is necessary is a policy which makes it very uncomfortable for illegal entrants to remain in our country and would actually encourage them to leave on their own, and re-enter legally if they are inclined to do so. For example:

    require business owners to utilize e-verify when hiring;

    punish those who knowingly hire illegal aliens;

    deny illegal entrants any tax payer financed medical care (excepting in a life death situation);

    deny the children of illegal aliens access to a State’spublic school system and all public assistance programs, i.e., any privileges created by a state for its citizens;

    forbid and make it a crime for illegals to live in any public housing unit or section eight housing;

    evict section eight occupants and public housing occupants if caught harboring illegal aliens;

    and never allow a person who has entered our country illegally to re-enter our country legally in the future __ give existing illegals a two month period to leave on their own before implementing this rule;

    finally, offer a nominal bounty for reporting an illegal alien who is working off the books and a like bounty for reporting an employer who is employing illegal entrants.

    This is not rocket science. It is common sense. Remove the freaken magnet which draws the poverty stricken populations of other countries to our country!

    American citizens are sick and tired of being made into tax slaves and forced to finance the personal economic needs of millions of foreigners who have invaded America’s borders.

    Trump will not deport DACA AND DAPA and their anchor babies. If he were serious @ correcting their unlawful presence he would be talking @ mandating E-Verify so they would self deport.

    He will build a wall and will see that legal immigrants are fitting and deserved of a life in America and will not raise the numbers of refugees like hillary would have, increase by 550%.

    Look for a better future and aside from the criminals, if they find them all, the rest will stay. Not what he campaigned on but the writing is on the wall. You can say they shouldn't be here all you want - they are not going anywhere

    So what you are saying is Trump has no problem with keeping American Citizens as tax slaves to support the economic needs of millions of foreigners who have invaded America's borders?

    There was a time not too long ago in New York when able-bodied people were ashamed to accept home relief, a program created by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1931 when he was Governor. Now these ticks and fleas not only demand welfare, but use it to buy beer, wine, drugs and Lotto tickets.

    Exactly - look for a better future with the wall, less refugees and legal immigration with better quality persons.

    He has "heart" and the chamber of commerce, businesses that want cheap labor, suppliers of consumer goods, a million landlords that are dependent on the 9 million or so that comprise DACA DAPA, anchor babies will scream bloody murder if he enacts E-verify for every job. They have been here too long and that was the plan with the gw/obama yrs. Trump is only talking @ deporting criminals. Kelly said the same thing, ryan the same. Very disappointing - you can want all you want, not happening.

    I hope not! We must push-back on this as hard as we can. Trump knows they have to go, from a financial standpoint, they are too expensive from two ways: steal jobs from Americans and sign up for welfare. Illegal aliens mess up everything he's trying to do with the economy, with raising wages, with putting Americans back to work, and reducing welfare usage and the expense associated with it. He's a numbers guy and I don't think he's going to let them stay and mess up his numbers. The DACAs, I don't know, I just don't know. I don't think he's even going to let them stay. He may let them stay with their work permits until he gets others out and the whole issue settles down abit. He said many times, what about our Dreamers, and how is that fair to legal immigrants waiting in line for years to come to the US. But I just don't know. We need to keep the pressure on.

    If yesterday was a "trial balloon" of some sort to prove his point of deportations or some "cruel hoax" as NBC chose to phrase it, or a misunderstanding where they're talking about amnesty and he's talking about legal immigration reform, I don't know. I think it was the latter.

    In any event, we just have to keep the pressure on. NO DEALS, NO AMNESTY, NO WORK PERMITS, NO LEGALIZATION, NOTHING. Get them out, get them all out.

    I'll echo much of what artist said. I certainly don't think the DACA illegals are going anywhere, period. I also do believe Trump said he is open to a "comprehensive" or "compromised" (I've seen both words used) bill that will legalize many of the so-called non-criminal illegals. Not exactly what was promised during his campaign.

    Keep your promise, Mr. President, end DACCA now!
