Political commentator Ann Coulter on President Trump's push to make a deal on DACA.


President Donald Trump will meet with Republican congressional leaders at Camp David over the weekend to come up with a plan for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

DACA, the Obama-era program that prevents young immigrants from being deported, was rescinded by Trump with a six-month delay for current recipients.


‘In Trump We Trust’ author Ann Coulter told FOX Business’ Lou Dobbs Friday that protecting the so-called “Dreamers” with legislation should not be Congress’ first focus after Trump’s election win was based on deporting illegal immigrants and building a stronger border wall.


“I’d deport the Dreamers before deporting MS-13 members. You catch them they at least say, ‘Ok, you got me,’” Coulter said.




Coulter said any limit set by Congress on Dreamers requesting pardons would provide amnesty for the entire world.


“I promise you Lou Dobbs any amnesty, it could be only for nuclear scientist that is an amnesty for everyone. It is an amnesty for illegals who are not even in this country,” she said.

Ann has a funny yet twisted sense of humor sometimes, but she makes a great point about amnesty for one is amnesty for all. I wish she would go further into the legal constitutional arguments against amnesty. After all she is a lawyer and should know that amnesty granted prior to repeal of the laws they broke violates the equal protection clause, naturalization clause and ex post facto clauses of the US Constitution in addition to violating numerous provisions of all US Civil Rights Acts.

Yes, and rightly so. We can only move out so many a year until Trump authorizes state and local law enforcement to enforce US immigration law and help US. Sessions only processed 87,000 deportations orders last year and has a backlog of 650,000 .... so we deport some short order DACA cook before we deport a killer MS-13 gang member chopping people up with a machete? Trump's priorities are right on this, dangerous criminals and gangs, welfare users, scofflaws with multiple misdemeanors, visa-overstays and immigration doc violators. And of course there are Dreamers and DACAs in all those categories as well. So the first thing you do with DACA's is let their permits expire, which is in progress now, and then you get to them when you get to them for deportation. They'll get letters of notice to deport and if they don't, they'll be a high-priority like any immigration document violator who failed to comply with their agreement and leave on time.

The squawking about DACA from Durbin, Pelosi et al is a DIVERSION. How are they going to get chain migration out of the law? That is the real question. How are they going to get E Verify in? Let the Dems do their spending bill boycott; the GOP needs to laser focus on the above two things and get the laws changed ASAP.

Ann Coulter has a unique style for sure, Judy. She told Laura Ingraham that she wishes Laura would have her on when the discussion is about immigration. Ann has done good research on illegal immigration and her legal knowledge adds to her overall analysis.

Her correct point is that an amnesty for any is an amnesty for all.

We need to win more Republican Senate and House Seats in November. We deliver on the bills we can do through reconciliation, like make the tax cuts permanent with a provision to repeal employer health care mandate, the repeal and replace Obamacare with new market-based interstate insurance sales by repealing McCarran-Ferguson Act, fix or repeal NAFTA and other bad trade deals, bring our factories and good jobs back home, we'll win more Senate and House Seats in November if we stay focused on candidates who can ... win. And then we can pass our bills we want to solve the immigration problem, both legal and illegal without any eternally DUMB DACA DEAL.

Yes, that's right. I know why she says these outlandish things, it's to draw attention and get air-time, clicks and publicity .... but she also makes good points and I really appreciate those, like the important critical point that amnesty for one is amnesty for all.

We already know from past experience that amnesty didn't solve the problem. It's like being on opioids, it feels too good to give it up. Illegal immigration, massive legal migration and amnesty in all forms are addictions we must end at all costs.

I watched the segment and loved every second of it.
