New exodus in the making as 91% of Moroccans want to come to western countries

An alarming article shows that 84 per cent of Algerians, 91 per cent of Moroccans and 53 per cent of young Tunisians want to come to western countries.
Studies on the three north African countries show a growing desire of their populations to leave their countries and joining a western country for a better life, news outlet Oumma reports.
The outlet’s article is titled “Will the Maghreb be confronted to a massive exile of it’s population?” and publishes three studies about the will to immigrate to a Western country of Maghreb’s populations.
According to a study performed by job agency Rekrute, 91 per cent of Moroccans want to leave their country. And another one done by the European Commission shows that 53 per cent of young Tunisians want to emigrate.
Finally, a study by the Boston Consulting Group found that 84 per cent of Algerians are willing to do a “professional exile”.
The main motives of the people who have expressed a willingness to emigrate are the possibility to find a work with a living wage and a better quality of life.
This challenges the narrative we’ve been asked to accept over the years that these are ‘refugees’ needing our humanitarian intervention.
