This story is for all of the people who think the thousands of people ILLEGALLY entering our country every day (via Obama's new open border policy) are just nice Mexican people looking for a better life...
Does anyone honestly believe there is some kind of filter or check point at our southern border that only allows Mexicans and South Americans to cross? You can be these terrorists have been taking advantage of Obama's open border policy for years now. Why would any terrorist bother with obtaining a passport when they can freely enter from our southern borders?

On Friday, CNS News reported that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, also known as ISIS, warned in an audio message delivered in January that the jihadist movement now taking over large areas of Iraq would soon confront the United States.
“Our last message is to the Americans. Soon we will be in direct confrontation, and the sons of Islam have prepared for such a day,” he said. “So watch, for we are with you, watching.”
The message was first made known on February 5 -- more than four months ago -- when Brett McGurk, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Iran and Iraq, testified before the House Foreign Affairs Committee. At that time, he presented written testimony explaining ISIS' agenda.
According to McGurk, the group seeks “to carve out an Islamic caliphate stretching from Baghdad to Lebanon.”
“ISIL has also made its intentions clear: move from a new base of operations in Fallujah to Baghdad--a distance of under 30 miles,” McGurk said written testimony. “Its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, had this to say in a rare audio statement issued on January 21: ‘As for ISIS in Iraq: Be in the frontlines against the Shia, and march toward Baghdad and the South, keep the Shia busy in their own areas. Know that the entire Sunni population and the brothers in Syria are watching you.’”
Baghdadi concluded his audio statement with a direct threat to the United States: “Our last message is to the Americans. Soon we will be in direct confrontation, and the sons of Islam have prepared for such a day. So watch, for we are with you, watching.”
“We take such threats seriously and through cooperation with this committee and the Congress, we intend to help the Iraqis in their efforts to defeat ISIL over long term,” McGurk said.
But so far, the administration has done little or nothing to provide the kind of aid Iraq says it needs. Haaretz said Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki secretly asked Obama for air support last month. The administration, however, refused, instead opting for what White House national security council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan called a "holistic approach."
"We have expedited shipments of military equipment since the beginning of the year, ramped up training of Iraqi Security Forces, and worked intensively to help Iraq implement a holistic approach to counter this terrorist threat," Meehan said.
Before leaving for a fundraiser and a round of golf on Friday, Obama said he would not send troops back into Iraq and told reporters the National Security Council was still considering options, including possible air strikes.
“I'll be reviewing those options in the days ahead,” Obama said. “I do want to be clear, though. This is not solely, or even primarily, a military challenge."
The president went on to suggest the Iraqi government itself is to blame for ISIS' advance.

OMINOUS WARNING: This Is ‘The Greatest National Security Threat Since 9/11′ – Former Ambassador to Iraq

    By Norvell Rose
    7:13 am June 16, 2014

Insurgent forces sweeping across Iraq continue to seize control of more and more territory in the besieged country. Under the banner of the terrorist organization known as ISIS, these ruthless marauders are instilling strict Sharia law in towns and cities they have overrun and are clashing with government forces for control of the big prize — Baghdad.
On Sunday, Rep. Michael McCaul, who chairs the Homeland Security Committee, criticized President Obama for leaving Washington in the midst of this “crisis” and heading to California to play golf and raise campaign cash at pricey fundraisers.
The Washington Examiner reports on the pointed criticism from Rep. McCaul, a Texas Republican:
“This is a crisis,” he said. “It does [need] a response, not going to Palm Springs for a fundraiser.”
McCaul said he spoke to Ryan Crocker, who served as ambassador to Iraq from 2007 to 2009, Saturday and Crocker characterized the threat from sectarian violence in Iraq as the “greatest national security threat since 9/11.”
“Al Qaeda owns more territory, more resources, and what’s happening in Iraq now is really chaotic,” he said.
A further dire warning about the worsening crisis in and around Iraq came from Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich, the chairman of the Intelligence Committee.
[Rogers] said ISIS is an extreme al Qaeda group that is gaining ground and military power as never before.
“We have an al-Qaida problem,” he told Fox News’ Chris Wallace. “That’s what we have today, in a scale that we’ve never seen before.”
With these kinds of extremely disturbing assessments from top Congressmen supposedly in the know, what will it take to keep President Obama in the White House, focused on such matters?

U.S. Ignored ISIS Threat, Homeland Could Be In Danger

June 17, 2014 by Sam Rolley
    SCREENSHOT

As Americans continue to try to understand how Iraq, a nation the U.S. occupied for more than a decade, is so rapidly becoming a playground for brutal Islamic extremists, defense and intelligence experts say that an American response to the extremist threat will be difficult to formulate because the necessary intel is lacking.
U.S. officials realize that the Islamic threat currently growing in Iraq could have direct implications for U.S. security, a notion demonstrated by the Navy’s mobilization of the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush and two other U.S. Navy ships to the Persian Gulf Sunday. But as lawmakers and pundits discuss the prospect of a U.S. airstrikes with the goal of stalling the forward advances of brutal militants in the nation aligned with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), top defense experts say that the recent rapid withdrawal of U.S. forces from key Iraqi assets makes it almost impossible to discern where the strikes are needed the most.
If forces inadvertently strike areas of Iraq where large-scale collateral damage is possible with minimal success in weakening the ISIS threat, there is a risk that the bombing could make matters worse in the country by making it easier for ISIS to radicalize Iraqis who were formerly possible U.S. allies.
“We don’t have boots on ground providing intelligence and we don’t have confidence in information that the Iraqi government provides, because they’ve [been] so heavy-handed in the use of force against Sunni villages,” Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), a senior member of the House Intelligence Committee, explained to The Daily Beast.
One fact that officials in the U.S. have not been overly excited to note, however, is that the United States’ national security apparatus has been aware of the growing ISIS threat for years.
    Via The New York Times:
With just a few thousand fighters, the group’s lightning sweep into Mosul and farther south appeared to catch many Iraqi and American officials by surprise. But the gains were actually the realization of a yearslong strategy of state-building that the group itself promoted publicly.
The Times’ article goes on to note the existence of several pieces of ISIS propaganda, including a 2007 pamphlet that cited “trends in globalization as well as the Quran in challenging modern notions of statehood as having absolute control over territory.”
In other words, ISIS leaders believe that the actions they’re currently carrying out in Iraq could be similarly reproduced throughout the entire world. And reports indicate that the brutal extremists are already laying the groundwork to challenge the Western world’s power to defend itself.
Police in Spain on Monday said that they have detained as many as eight people in connection with an ISIS-linked terror cell led by a former Guantanamo detainee.
“It should be highlighted that the leader of this cell lived in Spain after passing through the Guantanamo military base, having been arrested in Afghanistan in 2001,” the Spanish ministry said, according to AFP.
The danger that similar cells are being formed in the United States is real, according to many officials watching the situation unfold in Iraq.
