    Now that I'm working full time . . .

as a nurse, I see how much of my paycheck now goes to taxes. It's obscene how much is taken out, especially for federal. Now that I see THIS, I am even angrier at the situation w/ illegals not paying taxes, businesses not paying their fair share, and the whole dang mess.

I work like a DOG. I got my education, play by the rules, pay my taxes, yet these people are crossing our borders by the boatload and getting everything here FREE, while I have to pay for everything I use or do, then pay again w/ my taxes. I'm also paying my daughter's and son's high tution, IN FULL, while so many of these morons want it for free.

    Anyway, just a gripe ...from a new U.S. taxpayer/worker.

    Hi Jimm,

How are you? If you want an end to all of these taxes, and a secure border, check out Ron Paul for President in 2008. He's the one man who can fix this horrible situation.

    Take Care,

    Ostrich

The was a rant in our local paper from a person who said that we get, I can't remember if it was 18 or 22 cents, out of every dollar we earn and the rest is taxes in one way or another. Whether it be federal, state, sales etc. Nice high? Wasn't this the reason the pilgrims decided on the capitalistic way? Didn't they try the "everybodys equal" till too many realized they could get about the same amout of stuff with minimul effort
? It's especially aggravating when that little welfare card seems to grant these illegals far more than I remember any other time.....additional automatic help from churches and other places....... Can't go on forever......the cash pot is dry.

Don't forget... The nice little Gas tax.. I think the average is like 43% State and Federal.... So each time you put $10.00 of gas in your car or truck $4.30 is tax and goes to the Government...

If we don't stop it now it will only get worse. A few years ago, there were 15 people working for every person drawing out of Social Security. Soon it will be 2 or 3.

Unless you want your children to be working exclusively to feed the retired folks, then something absolutely has to change.

Not to hijack your thread with this, but its pertinent. I too, can't believe the amount taken out of my check. I literally could put a down payment on a home in two years if the IRS didn't take my money - BUT, because they do, I live month to month. I am supporting their, the governments, endless propaganda war machines, socialistic programs and HUGE government sucking more and more from us.

So here is where I hijack things. Get informed on Ron Paul. He wants to do away with the IRS. Not fiddle with the tax code and give us this phony "fairtax" which is just a way to legalize taxation with a new tax code.... Ron Paul believes in a fairtax of "0"!!! No federal Income Tax. Could you imagine how prosperous we all would be if we actually got to keep the money we earned! As it is, you are government employee 3-4 months out of the year... see how that works? In effect, we are all government employees... except the only benefits we get are irresponsible spending, beuracracy that makes things worse - not better, foreign wars and occupation, etc... its atrocious.

Oh, and I heard that our federal income tax is just used to pay off the interest we have accumulated from the FED (a private bank) from all the borrowing we are doing....

Wow, no federal taxes to pay .. .that would give me at my paltry starting salary about $800 extra a MONTH. Let's see, with $9600 per year I could definitely pay my older son's tuition, make improvements to our home, start buying some new clothes for a change -- perhaps go on a vacation.

And that's just MY salary ..not including my husbands. Together, gosh, we could just about cover our house payment totally.

It's a lot to think about -- what you'd do with the money.

You could actually save and invest it as well -- think of that! Having paid off your home and had some money in the bank as well, there may be no need for social security income.

Of course, people would have to work for their money ...

First we have the amount taken out of our checks and the money we have to come up with to cover people that don't have car or medical insurance. Then you have sales taxes and fuel taxes and the taxes I've missed, your talking some serious money.

So much money that if money talks we have turned over more of ours to people that can out vote us at every turn.

Then on top of it they are organized. While we may be divided and choosing to have something like cars made in yellow, blue, red and green and many other colors, they can vote for their black or white or what ever their choice is and get all production focused on their way.

That is not the way things were meant to be.

I totally agree with all of you.
Also remember that they are also driving most likely without insurance.

I am checking out Ron Paul. What do you think about Hunter?

Long story short; This is about the 3rd or 4th set of illegals that have moved in since Jan of 07.. They live right next to me... One of the males and a female drove a car into a parked car and up on a lawn. If the house was not on a hill the car would have been in the living room... So after the accident the illegals tried to run and hide from the cops.. 7 cop cars and 1 Police dog later they where caught hiding in the basement stairwell because the did not have a key to get in.. So do you think they have insurance ????
The car is a totaled... THANK You GOD........ It has an after market muffler and was loud as hell....
We, the neighbors and I, have decided to take the landlord to court.... All this today... 11-04-07

    John

Ron Paul is a nut job... Sorry Guys....." Lets get rid on the F.B.I. "???..He can't and will never be elected... A vote for Ru Paul is a vote for Rudy...Sad but "O" so true...
