NUMBERS USA Update for today - September 24

(September 24) - NUMBERS USA Update:
    http://www.numbersusa.com/index
The Senate has temporarily set aside debate on H.R. 1585, the Defense Department authorization bill for fiscal year 2008, to address other business. There is no word on when debate will resume. When it does, open-borders senators may, at some point, attempt to attach three proposals that, when taken together, would grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens and dramatically increase the importation of foreign workers at a time 10 million Americans are looking for jobs and can't find employment.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has not announced when a vote will occur on the DREAM Act amnesty amendment (now SA 2919).

It will take 41 NO votes to kill this amnesty. Currently, only 21 Senators are telling their constituents that they will vote NO on the amnesty.

Click to see list of Anti-Amnesty Champions who have officially pledged to vote NO.

    SENATORS MOST NEEDING CALLS

The senators in this first list voted NO on the Comprehensive Amnesty in June, but have not yet pledged to vote NO on the DREAM Act amnesty.

PRO-AMNESTY IN JUNE AND STILL PRO-AMNESTY

    Thanks for the update zeezil.

We must stay vigilant and keep on calling. I'm sure the pro-amnesty side is calling and visiting Senate offices as we read this.

Yep, these are the USUAL SUSPECTS, the IA huggers. I count about 16. Then, by adding Kennedy and his drinking buddies, we're well into the 30's. Gotta stop these clowns at no more than 39.
