It Stinks – John McCain’s “Lifetime Achievement Award” For Aiding Illegal Aliens

The pandering parade that is the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) convention in Washington DC is underway and they are about to put an exclamation point to what those of us who have been watching John “amnesty” McCain have long suspected. He’s really working for the illegal alien lobby and tonight they are going to provide dramatic proof.

While he’s certainly not limited himself to a single special interest to promote, his stated public position has been over the years such that he had avenues through which to claim opposition to illegal immigration, as in his “just build the damn fence” campaign which quickly died after he defeated J.D. Hayworth in 2000.

Any doubts that anyone had about McCain’s position on amnesty and acquiescing to the civilian invasion force should be put to rest tonight, The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is going to present McCain with the 2014 “Lifetime Achievement Award.”

The announcement by the USHCC states that the presentation will take place “at the USHCC’s 2014 Legislative Summit closing gala on March 27th at the Capitol Hilton in Washington, D.C.”

Their announcement describes the recipient saying, “Senator McCain is an exemplary national leader and a tireless ally to America’s Hispanic business community. His legacy is measured by pure character and effective action. The USHCC is proud to present this honor to Senator John McCain, an American hero, model public servant and true statesman.” Those remarks were signed by USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez.

He didn’t “earn” this recognition by being a staunch opponent of illegal immigration. He got it by, in their words, being “a tireless ally.” His partnership with Democrats and other pro-amnesty Republicans in the “Gang of Eight” amnesty fiasco is still hanging over our heads and further proof which can’t be forgotten.

We can hope that this announcement also signals a decision on the part of McCain that the charade is over, and so is his career in politics. The American Citizens and the Citizens of Arizona deserve better and demand a senator who doesn’t have to hide who he is and who he represents. Right now, they have none.

It is at events like this, that the politicians "connect" with the lobbyists. The people that send them to Congress can't afford to entertain them as lavishly. Didn't Nancy make a lot of money insider trading VISA ? I wonder if she will dicuss it at the luncheon with co speaker - very cozy.
