Obama Belittles & Talks Down to Heckler Over U.S. Immigration Reform

President Obama traveled to Chicago on Tuesday to sell his executive action on immigration in a speech at a community center in a predominantly Polish-American neighborhood, although his remarks were frequently interrupted by hecklers.

Obama began the speech by mentioning the protests in Ferguson, urging demonstrators in the Missouri city not to resort to violence. He then turned toward his executive action, which made nearly 5 million immigrants eligible to avoid deportation.

Obama praised the contributions to the U.S. by a broad patchwork of immigrants, saying it is imperative that the U.S. act now to change its broken immigration policy. He cited studies showing that immigrants open one-fourth of all new U.S. businesses and that 40 percent of Fortune 500 companies were founded by immigrants or their children. "Being a nation of immigrants gives us this huge entrepreneurial advantage over other nations," he said.

President Obama’s expected amnesty will cause a surge in illegal immigration as the relatives of newly legalized immigrants will begin pouring into the U.S.

This already occurred after President Ronald Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act passed by Congress in 1986, which granted amnesty to illegals who could prove they had resided in the U.S. continuously since 1982.

“If you ask historians, take a look at the track records of the modern presidency, I’ve actually been very restrained. And I’ve been very restrained with respect to immigration. Despite the “shellacking” of Democrats at the hands of the GOP in this week’s mid-terms, Obama has promised to press ahead with plans for immigration reform, including an executive order which many fear will amount to all out amnesty. “Before the end of the year, we’re going to take whatever lawful actions that I can take,” Obama said. “What I’m not going to do is just wait. I think it’s fair to say I’ve shown a lot of patience and tried to work on a bipartisan basis as much as possible.”

“Should you decline to defend the Senate and the Constitution from executive overreach, the undersigned Senators will use all procedural means necessary to return the Senate’s focus during the lame duck session to resolving the constitutional crisis created by President Obama’s lawless amnesty,” the letter concludes.

Although the government and mainstream media perfectly timed the Ferguson grand jury decision to go off right after President Obama passed executive amnesty (which, magically, no one in the mainstream media is talking about anymore), it also works out well for the White House that this event transpired right before the upcoming holiday.

Why, you might ask?

Because the Obama administration has prepared, for the fifth time now, to oh-so-quietly release 3,415 brand spanking new regulations right before Thanksgiving while everyone just so happens to be totally distracted and focusing on the orchestrated civil disorder going on in Ferguson.

The federal Unified Agenda is the Obama administration’s regulatory road map, and it lays out thousands of regulations being finalized in the coming months. Under President Barack Obama, there has been a tradition of releasing the agenda late on Friday — and right before a major holiday.
“It’s become an unfortunate tradition of this administration and others to drop these regulatory agendas late on a Friday and right before a holiday,” Matt Shudtz, executive director of the Center for Progressive Reform, told The Hill newspaper.
The White House’s regulatory agenda for spring 2014 was released on the eve of the Memorial Day weekend, when millions of people set out on weekend getaways or family vacations.
“It’s unfortunate because it’s an update on protections for Americans of all stripes,” Shudtz told the Hill. “It lays out the administration’s plan and it deserves more attention.”

Nice, right?

Apparently, this release comes new and improved with even more regulations than last time, and it even comes complete with the added bonus of having 189 rules which come with a nice fat price tag of $100 million.

It’s funny… Once upon a time, throwing out an amount like a hundred million would’ve made some people’s eyeballs literally pop out of their heads. I can use the word literally in a figurative sense now without being incorrect, because apparently we live in such an Idiocracysociety that the official definition of the word “literally” has been updated to include “used for emphasis or to express strong feeling while not being literally true.”
… I’m not even kidding.

Anyway, who knows what evil will be lurking in those 3,415 new regulations. No, really. Who knows? Hardly anyone knows, because these regs will be slipped in under cover of concocted protests in Ferguson, a plate full of turkey and stuffing, and a football game.
