The Obama Hammer Falls! – Coal Miners, Power Plant Workers, Railroaders, Truck Drivers, Millwrights, Welders Are About To Get Screwed Out Of Their Jobs – #climate change

Posted on June 23, 2013 by BC

Despite the fact that the planet is actually cooling, Obama is about to use the climate change lie to put even more Americans out of work. At this point there can be no denying that this man is purposely trying to destroy this country – which he hates.

To the people who were dumb enough to believe the Obama union (communist) propaganda, I hope you get trampled in the cheese lines…

    The Washington Post reported:

President Obama will announce Tuesday in a speech at Georgetown University that he plans to regulate greenhouse-gas emissions from existing power plants, according to individuals who have been briefed on the plan but asked not to be identified.

In a statement Saturday afternoon sent via the White House Twitter feed, Obama said that he plans to fulfill the pledge he made in his second inaugural address to “respond to the growing threat of climate change for the sake of our children and future generations.”

“This Tuesday, I’ll lay out my vision for where I believe we need to go — a national plan to reduce carbon pollution, prepare our country for the impacts of climate change, and lead global efforts to fight it,” the president said. “This is a serious challenge — but it’s one uniquely suited to America’s strengths.”

Obama To Strap US With More Costs To Fund His New Climate Change Vision

Amidst the continuing unfolding of the IRS scandal, Fast and Furious gun running, NSA surveillance, mismanagement of funds and targeting of conservatives by the IRS, and continuing debate over the Gang of Eight immigration bill and effects of Obamacare, the President, if you can call him that, is set to announce his plans for “climate change” this week. According to the Daily Caller, Obama said, “This Tuesday, I’ll lay out my vision for where I believe we need to go – a national plan to reduce carbon pollution, prepare our country for the impacts of climate change and lead global efforts to fight it.” One has to pause and consider if his “vision” for where the US needs to be on climate change is the same as his famous “fundamentally change America” ideas.

The Washington Post reported the announcement will focus on the intention to “limit greenhouse gas emissions from existing power plants, increase appliance efficiency standards and promote renewable energy development on public lands in a speech Tuesday outlining his plan to use executive powers to address climate change.”

    The New York Times indicated:

Mr. Obama’s decision to use his executive authority to regulate utilities reflects a determination that he has no prospect of passing such sweeping policies through Congress. But while the Supreme Court validated the power of the executive to regulate carbon emissions without further legislation, the president’s move may draw lawsuits and other challenges from industry and Republicans citing the economic costs.

The administration has already moved to curb emissions of new power plants, but expanding regulation to existing utilities would be among the most consequential decisions the president could make. More than a third of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States are produced by electric power facilities.

It should be noted that major environmental lobby groups support the immigration bill even though immigrants are expected to increase the about of carbon dioxide emitted by the United States and expand urban development. Let’s not forget that the major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions are cow farts and belches and China now emits more greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere than the United States and by 2015, that emission will surpass the US by more than 50 percent.

In order to understand the peril of climate change and why drastic measures are needed to control greenhouse gas emissions by executive order, which is a usurpation of power by the President with Supreme Court blessing, much research was conducted to find the consensus of the scientific community regarding climate change and the effect greenhouse gases on the climate. After all, the scientific method used by scientists would prove or disprove the dangers of climate change and greenhouse gas emission. Two days of research produced the conclusion that the scientific community studying climate change and the effects of greenhouse gas emissions cannot agree on how much influence man-made emissions have contributed to global warming. Scientists agree man-made emissions have had some effect on global warming but cannot definitely attribute those emissions as the single, undisputed cause.

All the data collected and how it is analyzed is written in what I term, “scientific-ese,” a language used by a certain sect of science whereby they are the only ones who can understand it, leaving the common individual to take their word for the summation of findings. A wise professor once said to me, “25 cent words are nice but why use them when the 5 cent word is one everyone understands.” To bore anyone with a lengthy read, the following lists only some of the sources reviewed on climate change and greenhouse gas emissions:

The information overload would cause the sanest person to pull their hair out; but, what was increasingly clear is the scientific community studying this phenomenon cannot produce an exact computer model or paleo-climatology computer system to predict climate change and greenhouse gas emissions. By their own admission, scientists do not know every variable as they still do not understand everything about the earth or its workings and models predicting dire consequences for the current time failed in their predictions leaving scientists scratching their head.

What does all this mean? It appears to be just another money pit this administration is willing to strap to the backs of the American public in the continued usurpation of power history involving big government. You can bet your bottom dollar government incentives for green energy and renewable energy sources will pour forth from the administration along with dollars to assist energy companies to reduce carbon emissions: All being done, not on definitive scientific proof as scientists can’t agree, for some hidden reason by the administration as I doubt altruism is in the dictionary in Washington. One need only follow the money when these plans are announced and participators determined to see what transpires.

There is another plan afoot here as well and unless this Congress is willing to rein in this out of control usurper and do what is mandated by the Constitution, the legacy left behind will be unrecognizable.

AP SOURCES: A PEAK INTO PRESIDENT OBAMA’S AGGRESSIVE NATIONAL CLIMATE CHANGE PLAN

    Jun. 24, 2013 9:00pm Jason Howerton

BURBANK, CA – JUNE 24: The Burbank Water and Power natural gas-fueled power plant operates on June 24, 2013 in Burbank, California. WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama’s national plan to combat climate change will include the first-ever regulations to limit carbon dioxide emissions from existing power plants, as well as increased production of renewable energy on public lands and federally assisted housing, environmental groups briefed on the plan said Monday.

In a major speech Tuesday at Georgetown University, Obama will announce that he’s directing his administration to allow enough renewables on public lands to power 6 million homes by 2020, effectively doubling the capacity from solar, wind and geothermal projects on federal property. He’ll also say the U.S. will significantly expand production of renewable energy on low-income housing sites, according to five individuals briefed on the plan, who were not authorized to discuss it publicly ahead of Obama’s announcement and spoke on condition of anonymity.

The far-reaching plan marks Obama’s most prominent effort yet to deliver on a major priority he laid out in his first presidential campaign and recommitted to at the start of his second term: to fight climate change in the U.S. and abroad and prepare American communities for its effects. Environmental activists have been irked that Obama’s high-minded goals never materialized into a comprehensive plan.

In taking action on his own – none of the steps Obama will announce Tuesday require congressional approval – Obama is also signaling he will no longer wait for lawmakers to act on climate change, and instead will seek ways to work around them.

The lynchpin of Obama’s plan, and the step activists say will have the most dramatic impact, involves limits on carbon emissions for new and existing power plants. The Obama administration has already proposed controls on new plants, but those controls have been delayed and not yet finalized. Tuesday’s announcement will be the first public confirmation that Obama plans to extend those controls to coal-fired power plants that are currently pumping heat-trapping gases into the atmosphere.

“This is the holy grail,” said Melinda Pierce of Sierra Club, an environmental advocacy group. “That is the single biggest step he can take to help tackle carbon pollution.”

Forty percent of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions, and one-third of greenhouse gases overall, come from electric power plants, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the Energy Department’s statistical agency.

Obama Pushes for More Economic Control Under Climate Change Banner

President Obama has a new “do it for the kids” initiative, which I guess applies to all policies that promote government control and spending, rather than cutting spending and reducing debt.

Showing that he is truly serious about “climate change” (frankly, this redundant phrase cracks me up), the president launched his new initiative to get more control of the comment… via Twitter:

The Washington Post reported that the plan will include regulations to push down carbon-dioxide emissions from power plants. Obviously, such measures will drive up energy prices (dare I say, “necessarily skyrocket“?).

In case people have been in a time warp the last decade, this environmentalism business is costing America billions of dollars every year. And a heads up — clinging to the view that man can adjust the earth’s thermostat will only get more expensive in the future.

This comes via the BBC, of all places — no significant global warming for 15 years:

Scientists say the recent downturn in the rate of global warming will lead to lower temperature rises in the short-term. Since 1998, there has been an unexplained “standstill” in the heating of the Earth’s atmosphere. Writing in Nature Geoscience, the researchers say this will reduce predicted warming in the coming decades.

But long-term, the expected temperature rises will not alter significantly.
