    contacting congress

I want to email several local congressmen to vent my disappointment
at their vote on the healthcare bill. Chiefly Shiela Jackson-Lee and Gene
Green. Both their websites won't let you email them unless you live in their
districts. "Unfortunately, I am only able to respond to constituents from
    18th Congressional District of Texas."
    I personally think that's a little
    chicken.

I can put in a bugus address and get into the email. But I'm wonder if
it's appropriate and if it's a waste of time.

Does anybody have their email adresses so I can email them directly?

    Thanks,
    Def

PS. My congressman (Ted Poe) voted against the bill.

    DEMAND AN EXPLANATION TO MEXICO!!

WELL TALKING ABOUT CONGRESS, I AM STILL ANNOYED DUE TO THE COMMENTS OF THE SPEAKER OF THE MEXICAN CONSULATE IN SAN DIEGO, WHERE EXCLAIMED THAT CALIFORNIA ONCE BELONGED TO MEXICO AND WILL IN THE FUTURE!!??? I WROTE TO SEVERAL CONGRESSMEN AND SEEMED THAT AN ANSWER MIGHT TAKE A LONG LONG STEP.
SO I WILL RECOMMEND YOOU DO THE SAME WRITE TO YOUR CONGRESSMEN, BECAUSE NO PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM MEXICO NOR AN EXPLANATION HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO THE US CITIZENS, WHO WERE INSULTED AT THE "DIPLOMATIC HOUSE" OF MEXICO.
i ALSO WROTE TO THE MEXICAN FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER, PATRICIA ESPINOSA, WHO PRESIDES THE MEXICAN STATE DEPARTMENT, HERE IS THE EMAIL:

    pespinosa@sre.gob.mx

I DID BUT STILL NO ANSWER, MAYBE OUR NEW EMBASSADOR TO MEXICO WILL, BUT TRY WITH THIS EMPLOYEE´S BOSS.
LETS MAKE AMERICA RESPECTABLE FOR ONCE!!! IF NOT ANYBODY WOULD COME TO INSULT US!! IN US SOIL!!!

It's frustrating, my congressman votes the right way for the most
part but I don't like sitting and watching the ones from nearby districts
being total idiots. I doubt I'll get a response from them or even if they'll
ever see my email but I want to tell them that even though I don't live
in their district I plan on doing everything in my power to see to it that
    they don't get elected again.

Let's see how much they like that health care bill when they're standing
    in the unemployment line.

    My letter to Queen Sheila:

I want you to know how disappointed I am in your
vote on the health care bill.

We held tea parties and you didn't listen to us.
We attended your townhall meetings and not only did you
not listen but you had the gall to take a personal call,
rudely interrupting one of your constituants, we marched
on Washington and you STILL did not
listen. When it was clear that the American people did
not want this bill you and your ilk passed it anyway.
That is not how the democratic process works.

But it DOES work like this:
I want you to know that when it comes time for your
re-election, even if you run against Pee Wee Herman,
I will do everything in my power from donating to your
opponent to knocking on doors for him or her to handing
out fliers for him or her in order to see to it
you do not remain in office.

Let's see how good that health bill looks when you're in
the unemplyment line with the rest of us.

No problem. I have always received those canned responses from many members of Congress, but at least that means that someone has opened the email. I don't know if they have some auto response device or not, but most often, after blitzing everyone with emails, I get no response from the majority of them.
