Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., along with a slew of other House Democrats, responded on Saturday to President Trump's announced Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids by calling for the agency's abolition and opposing supplemental funding for both it and Customs and Border Protection (CBP).The emergency border supplemental bill would provide $1.2 billion to CBP and $128 million to ICE -- two of the primary and most controversial entities responsible for immigration enforcement. Part of that controversy arose after politicians heavily criticized conditions on the southern border. Ocasio-Cortez specifically compared them to "concentration camps."

Those agencies, a group of progressive congresswomen argued, didn't deserve funding due to how they treated families and children.

Democrats have no solution for the crisis at the southern border other than full amnesty for 22+ million illegal aliens living in the country that they consider as “Unregistered Democrats.” The leadership of the Democratic Party regularly encourage migrants from Mexico and Central America to make the perilous journey to our border, not because they want them to have a better life, but because they know these people will overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. Hell, they’re here illegally, and in many cases they’re already voting.

At this point we should stop thinking of deportations of illegal aliens living in the country as some sort of a “special project” and make deportations an every day occurrence. It literally is the law of the land. The illegal aliens and their sponsors, the Democrats, aren’t playing by the rules. It has been decades that illegals have been coming into the country illegally and not leaving, while politicians gave platitudes every election year about how they would solve the immigration problem only to end up doing nothing. Donald Trump is not a typical politician. He is a results-oriented leader.
According to federal data, at this point in time, there are about 1.7 million illegal aliens living in the United States with deportation orders or pending deportation orders.

On Monday last week Trump tweeted about the deportations effort, promising that ICE would be deporting “millions” of illegal aliens.

The president delayed the deportations for two weeks to give the Democrats a chance to keep the oath they took to defend and uphold the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. The millions of foreigners invading our borders are enemies. That’s the stark reality that Democrats and leftists deny. When you enter a country illegally, you are invading that country. They talk all the time about having a Constitutional duty to impeach Trump, even though there are no high crimes or misdemeanors, but where is their loyalty to the American people, the people who elect them to office?
Unfortunately, you, me, and the proverbial lamp post over in the corner all know that Democrats are only going to use this delay time to conjure up another clever scam to block deportations. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said that Planned Parenthood facilities are not like “concentration camps for fetuses,” calling a reporter’s question “crazy,” The Daily Wire reported Monday.

A video surfaced Monday morning, showing a group of reporters swarming the New York lawmaker. At one point, Ocasio-Cortez took a question from a man who asked, “Congresswoman, do you think Planned Parenthood and abortion clinics are like concentration camps for fetuses?”
Ocasio-Cortez dismissed the question and issued a short reply.
“Um, absolutely not, sir,” she said, calling it “crazy.”

Ocasio-Cortez has been under fire for comparing migrant detention facilities to concentration camps. She made the controversial remarks in an Instagram live video posted last week and has failed to back down or apologize, despite backlash from Holocaust survivors.
“I went through it. How can you – looking at my face – tell me that the camps that they have in the South are concentration camps?” survivor Sami Steigmann said in a video Turning Point USA posted Saturday.
“You are insulting every victim of the Holocaust,” he said. “Shame on you.”
As Breitbart News reported, migrant detention facilities are a far cry from concentration camps. The former serves as a temporary holding place for migrants who illegally enter the United States on their own accord. The United States is not “rounding up” citizens or political opponents, and migrant detention facilities are not set up for the inhumane purposes of torture or death. While overcrowding is a massive issue, GOP lawmakers are trying to get Democrats on board with funding to provide additional bed space and other essential resources that would improve the facilities.
The same cannot be said of those who operated concentration camps. The comfort of the occupants was not a priority.
The argument could be made, however, that Planned Parenthood facilities have more in common, as unwanted unborn children who enter the facilities are terminated, one way or the other. Planned Parenthood performed more than 332,000 abortions last year alone.
Overall, 61 million unborn babies have been killed since Roe v. Wade was settled.
