An Open Letter To Pro-Amnesty Christians

My fellow Christians,

For the most part, I believe your intentions are sincere.
There are some great Americans, great individuals, who have actively participated in missions, outreach organizations, and various social movements and have seen firsthand the pain and devastation caused by poverty, natural disaster, and governmental suppression. May we never lose that charitable and compassionate desire to change lives and show mercy throughout the world.
But there’s a flip side. Movements born out of compassion and mercy are often hijacked by those with prideful, even vengeful intentions.

It is not uncommon for a Christian and/or social/political figure to have some personal exposure to the plight of those living in poverty. The dedicated response of those who devote themselves to improving the lives of such afflicted ones is highly commendable. They put me to shame.

However, there are times that such experiences produce feelings of righteous anger and pride against those who are perceived negligent or indifferent to the plight of the downtrodden and the destitute throughout the world. Many a bitter sentiment is exclusively cast toward America, as our nation is often perceived to be symbolic of an inequality-producing form of cold capitalism. America has become the scapegoat for the sins of the world.

The socialist activist seeks a guiltless restitution in the form of legislation requiring America to open it’s doors and it’s wealth to the needs of the internationally disenfranchised throughout the globe. Their mission, at first glance, appears to be a noble one. However, there often is a degree of envy, prejudice, and resentment that calls for the control and confiscation of those who are deemed too comfortable and opportunistic on behalf of those deemed most deserving or neglected. Even those with the most noble of intentions can become indignant and partner with those who themselves have tactfully exploited their poor for their own political gain.

Right now, middle and upper class Americans, including the faithful Christian, are being conned, guilted, pressured, and enticed to support social justice causes and opportunities. What is not clearly understood is how our sympathies are being played and livelihoods sacrificed to state authorities. Equality, community, and reform are merely words used by globalists, bankers, monarchs, dictators, popes, and Bono to increase the scope of their power grab (and, in the process, increase the numbers of dependent.)

The Immigration Reform Act of 1965 introduced the work and student visa program, green cards, and refugee programs. With the greater expansion and influx of immigration comes a slower rate of assimilation. Today’s Democratic Party clearly reflects this sad reality as they promote and champion policy and legislation that defeats the rights and liberties of the individual as granted by the Constitution. The current steamroller tactics applied by these same Democrats (with a complicit and seduced majority of Republicans and social justice Christians) toward Amnesty will be the final nail in the coffin of American sovereignty and prosperity.

Opportunity has been swiftly revoked, while the good intentions of the globally minded social activist and the compassionate (albeit image conscious) politician are devoured by ruthless principalities hellbent on expanded misery and godless servitude.

I will conclude my message with a few words from Ann Coulter -

Leave aside the harm cheap labor being dumped on the country does to the millions of unemployed Americans. What does it mean for the Republican Party?

Citing surveys from the Pew Research Center, the Pew Hispanic Center, Gallup, NBC News, Harris polling, the Annenberg Policy Center, Latino Decisions, the Center for Immigration Studies and the Hudson Institute, Schlafly’s report overwhelmingly demonstrates that merely continuing our current immigration policies spells doom for the Republican Party.

Immigrants — all immigrants — have always been the bulwark of the Democratic Party. For one thing, recent arrivals tend to be poor and in need of government assistance. Also, they’re coming from societies that are far more left-wing than our own. History shows that, rather than fleeing those policies, they bring their cultures with them.
