I was watching CSpan Monday morning before going to our Memorial Day service. It is a service - solemn, speakers, honoring the dead and POW and MIA, bugles, bagpipes, and speakers with pride of country messages. The topic was adjusting to civilian life after the military on CSpan, and one guy started dishing the illegal aliens and preferential treatment they get in employment and skirting the law. Pedro (commentator) on CSpan says, what about those illegals who join the military for citizenship?

    1. Not true for illegals anyway, and very small percentage of legal aliens in the military, overwhelming majority American citizens;

    2. Can Pedro's agenda be any more evident?

When I listened to the speeches, watching veterans stand proudly when their branch was introduced, and this general speaking about how they defended the freedom of people world wide.

I want you all to understand that I, too, am a veteran of the Army Nurse Corps (hooha to you all). But what I don't understand is why and how all these proud veterans sit idly by while foreign nationals march in our streets demanding all kinds of benefits they are not entitled to while flying foreign rags as though it is all okay. Where are they and why are they not willing to wage a battle for the hearts and help of our citizens on their homefront?

What a disgrace and a slap in the face. The person who organized this parade should be a shame.

I am SO burned out on this tacky culture that is CONSTANTLY in our faces week after week. Maybe for July 4th we can be entertained with fireworks that turn in to giant sombreros.

GaPatriot I can assure you that many proud veterans are standing up and fighting patriotically and legally right now for you and all American Citizens and our children -- and are certainly not sitting idly by as foreign nationals march in our streets. Many are here on this site right now, many in other parts fighting in other ways, some directly like at San Francisco's "Running of the Patriots" event:

However, I have a whimsical and imaginative mind, that is certainly very eccentric too. So I had to smile at how my mind imagined what you might want us old vets to do. Of course I love you and please laugh with me because this is my vision not yours

So, here we are at San Francisco's 2011 "Running of the Patriots." I have organized an old veteran wheel chair battalion! We are lined up in our well shined wheel chairs with polished shoes and uniforms. Before us, tens upon tens of thousands of angry, mean spirited hateful La Raza and MEChA illegal aliens with the Soviet Socialist San Francisco Board of Supervisors and Chairman Mayor "mao" Gaven "I will sleep with your spouse" Newsom. I yell "DAMN THE TORPEDOS FULL SPEED AHEAD!" An old cavalry charge trumpet is sounded, the wheel chair armada begins to charge forward. Faster and faster. "RAMMING SPEED" I yell! Into the valley of death rode the 600...

Well perhaps we should all ask ourselves and our families, lets wake up and get to work. Whatever people can do, then do it within reason and the law: mail, email, phone call, organize, hand out alipac flyers, talk to friends and families and educate them, VOTE THE TRAITOROUS POLITICIANS OUT OF OFFICE, donate to those politicians who support alipac's platform!

We can do this, YES WE CAN! SI SE PUEDE!

God Bless America! God Save America! God Bless all American Patriots!
Suppose you were an idiot and suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.

Wouldn't it be great if we hired foreigners to be in our military--even illegals!

NO! Partially the reason Rome fell.

I live in a very small town in SE Michigan and last year the very first entrants in the Cinco de Mayo parade was the local National Guard. I was furious and called all over the state to find out what "person" authorized this charade. I was hung up on twice until I reached someone in Lansing, who apologized. I watched the rest of the parades for the entire year and never once did the National Guard make another appearance. Even on July 4th!!!

As a veteran, this breaks my heart. A day that was designed to
remember our fallen comrades has been taken over by the illegal
    huggers... it's not right!

I spent my Memorial Day standing out in the heat, playing bagpipes
at a local cemetary for a Memorial Day ceremony honoring TRUE
Americans. I didn't fight in a war but I lost some friends in "operations"
and spent much of my day remembering them. How dare these people
    p*ss on their memory.
