Thread: Annex Mexico`

The only long-term solution to the immigration problem with MX is to offer them annexation into the US. To let all or part of MX become new states in the union is the only win/win for everyone. The only reason MX citizens are flooding into the US is the failure of their government to move their economy and legal system into the 21 century. If MX was incorporated into the US government and economic system all things would equalize over time and there would not be a need for them to migrate to the northern states. Sure there would be a lot to overcome but no doubt it would be easier than trying to bring democracy to Irag.

Why would America waste time, effort and money annexing a worthless chunk of ground? Do we get to keep the drug cartels too?

Apparently Annex hasn't been to a border slum town of Mexico. What an site! Flies galore around the open ventor's food stands. People using the alley's to go to the bathroom. Trash in the streets. Beggars asking for money. Ohhhhhhh that and more. Annexing Mexico would be the biggest mistake ever. But that's what Jorge Bush wants to do? Create a new world order union with Mexico, Canada, and Mexico. NO THANK YOU!

How about the criminals here (illegal alien = criminal) go home to Mexico and MEXICO, a rich country with wonderful natural resources, being responsible for it's own citizens. Work to improve Mexico, yourselves. It's NOT the USA's responsibility.

I can't resist saying that it would be asinine for the US to annex Mexico. Why should we take on their problems? We just need to enforce our laws, secure our border and maybe it will force the people of Mexico to make a change in their country. Hell, if we took on Mexico....everyone else in north America would want in.....sound familiar?
