BREAKING: Patriotic Bikers Plan a March to “Shut Down the Border”
Back in March, Afghanistan war veteran Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi took a wrong turn in San Diego, ending up in Mexico. Unfortunately, he had his three legal and registered firearms with him, resulting in his arrest and imprisonment by Mexican authorities.
Sgt. Tahmooressi has received very little attention from the mainstream media, with the exception of Fox News, and has had to rely on alternative media to help get his story out. He has even appealed directly to President Obama with
a letter asking for his assistance in getting him out of jail, noting the
hypocrisy of Obama’s efforts to free captured US soldier Bowe Bergdahl while ignoring his own imprisonment in a Mexican jail.
Last month, a group of patriotic bikers and veterans
rode to the border and rallied to bring attention to Tahmooressi’s plight. They consider their rally to be a success, and have planned another protest, this one set for July 5th, to continue their demand for Mexico to release Sgt. Tahmooressi.
Marine veteran Pete Santilli, of Guerilla Media Network, was one of the organizers of the ride and protest in June, and is also behind the next planned protest. He is appealing to all to join him in an attempt to peacefully shut down the border crossings south of San Diego, to send a message to not only the Mexican authorities, but US authorities as well, that Sgt. Tahmooressi must be released immediately. (H/T

The U.S Government under the hypocritical and unconstitutional leadership of Barrack Hussein Obama has failed to act swiftly. It is a fact that they could have him released Tahmooressi with one telephone call to Mexico authorities and to illustrate their capabilities to act swiftly, one only needs to look to what happened in mid June 2014. Four Mexico police officers crossed the border with guns and were arrested essentially for making the same mistake as Tahmooressi. Within two days the police officers were released without charge and returned to Mexico.
It’s time for the American people to peacefully rise to occasion and demand that our U.S. Marine be released by Mexico immediately. We The People — in numbers — can come together on July 5th, 2014 at the U.S. Mexico border crossing in San Diego and publicly demand that Sgt. Tahmooressi be released. The main stream media will have no alternative than to cover the story, and the U.S. Government will be required to act immediately; per the expressed will of the people. If we work hard, we can be successful in this effort but we need everyone’s help.
Santilli goes on to provide directions on how to help spread the word about the planned rally, and directions on where it will begin. He encourages everybody who can make it to attend, and stresses that interested people shouldn’t assume that others will show up so they can stay home. He is also calling for a peaceful show of force by every Marine, whether active duty or retired, to save their fellow brother who is wrongly imprisoned in Mexico.
This is great, and we fully support this effort. Sgt. Tahmooressi needs to be released immediately, and it is shameful that our government, either the White House or the State Department, has not yet secured his release. We wish the bikers a safe ride, and hope they have a large turnout for their peaceful protest, and that they are successful in securing Tahmooressi’s release.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter if you support the bikers and veterans riding to the border to secure the release of Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi from a Mexican jail.
