Paul Ryan needs to be primaried and not elevated to Speaker of the House

It is only too obvious that our Washington Establishment, whose mission is to subvert our Constitutionally limited, Representative system of government, is surrounding the wagons in support of Paul Ryan.

What does Paul Ryan stand for?

    FAST TRACK TRADE PROMOTION AUTHORITY

Paul Ryan was on board with Fast Track Trade Promotion Authority and subverting Congress’ exclusive and constitutionally assigned duty to regulate commerce with foreign nations. Ryan promoting ignoring our Constitution and placing this power in Obama’s hands.

Fast-track trade power would allow the President to negotiate trade deals with foreign nations in secret and effectively eliminate the American People’s Representatives from their assigned duty to create legislation regulating commerce with foreign nations. Congress would no longer create the legislation and the process of adding corrective amendments to Obama’s deals struck in secret to insure they promote America’s best interests would be totally circumvented. The only part Congress would have in the President’s fast-track trade power would be an up or down vote within 90 days upon receiving the presidents' deal which effectively eliminates Congress’ assigned duty to create regulations of commerce.

This Fast-tract trade authority is a Chamber of Commerce’s idea to remove the people’s Representatives from amending bad trade deals struck by Obama in secret which are not in the best interests of America, but rather, are deals beneficial to international corporate giants who have no allegiance to America or promoting the general welfare of the United States.

Rep. Paul Ryan gives finger to veterans, confirms he is a Washington snake!

Paul Ryan drafted a plan with Patty Murray which would cut veterans benefits. See Paul Ryan Doubles Down on Cutting Veteran Pensions

What Paul Ryan intentionally refuses to acknowledge is, of the defined and limited powers granted to our federal government by our Constitution, one just happens to be its power over our nation’s military, and that means caring for our nation’s war verteans . Unlike the countless federal government free-cheese programs not authorized by our Constitution and which work to balloon our annual federal deficits, providing for our nation’s veterans is a legitimate and constitutionally based obligation.

Ryan’s “reforms” ought to begin with a twenty percent cut of every social welfare program which is not within the defined and limited powers granted to our federal government. To not do so is to advance the pinko progressive agenda which has made our productive members of society tax slaves to those enjoying the ride on Obama’s free-cheese wagon.

Paul Ryan embraces millions who have invaded our borders!

Paul Ryan is in favor of legalizing millions of illegal entrants who, by their very presence in America, are causing devastating social and economic consequences

Paul Ryan is also in favor of line item veto power being exercise by our President.

Keep in mind the President’s veto power is laid out in crystal clear language in our Constitution. If the president vetoes a bill it is returned to the House that originated the bill with the president’s objections, and the bill [not parts of the bill which the president doesn’t like] is then to be reconsidered and needs a two thirds vote of that House to override the President’s veto which then requires the bill to be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law.

Unfortunately, Paul Ryan is comfortable with taking it upon himself to change the veto procedure outlined in our Constitution and do for the people that which the people have not willingly agreed to do for themselves via our Constitution‘s required amendment process.

Under Ryan’s circumvention of our Constitution, the president is granted extraordinary power to withhold funding for whatever he so desires and this defies appropriations made by law. We were warned about the president exercising such power during the convention of 1787!

''The negative of the governor was constantly made use of to extort money. No good law whatever could be passed without a private bargain with him. An increase of salary or some donation, was always made a condition; till at last, it became the regular practice to have orders in his favor on the treasury presented along with the bills to be signed, so that he might actually receive the former before he should sign the latter. When the Indians were scalping the Western people, and notice of it arrived, the concurrence of the governor in the means of self-defense could not be got, until it was agreed that the people were to fight for the security of his property, whilst he was to have no share of the burdens of taxation.'' ___ SEE: Benjamin Franklin, June 4 of the Constitutional Convention

Paul Ryan also alleges that “Congress has the power to enact this legislation pursuant to Article I, Section 9, Clause 7.” which has nothing to do with the allowable veto power procedure which is articulated in Article 1, Section 7, Clause 2. Keep in mind our Supreme Court has already struck down line item veto powers being exercised by the president.

The bottom line is, this little snake, Paul Ryan, needs to be primaried this coming election and not elevated to Speaker of the House.

    JWK

To support Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio or John Kasich is to support a continuance of Obama's illegal immigration tyranny which includes giving legal status and work permits to tens of millions who have invaded our borders!

Ryan rebuffs growing appeals to run for speaker, as Issa considers bid

REP. PAUL RYAN doubles down on his refusal to run for House speaker in the aftermath of Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy bowing out of the race and throwing the leadership contest into chaos, as another candidate, Rep. Darrell Issa, is reportedly considering whether to join the race.

I hope Ryan stays out. It would probably ruin his future political career which I think is why he's not interested. Speaker is a tough job with no future potential. I don't know of any Speaker of House who ever went beyond that. Does anyone?

I still like Issa for this job. I think he would help us move many of the bills we want forward, because he really does not like illegal immigration at all, not one bit. His bill was an attempt to register them, so they could be deported. It was an extension of his Alien Accountability Act back in 2001 when he thought they needed to be registered because no one was deporting them because the President was claiming "we don't know who they are, where they are or what they're doing". Oh okay, thinks Issa, so lets find out. That is the whole purpose of his bill, is to find them and get them out of here with the carrot to register because they might get to stay, and yes, some would, but in return, most would be deported. Not my choice of action, but I understand the reasoning behind it at the time.

Now we can authorize states and local governments to deport them because they know who they are, where they are and what they're doing, something the feds don't know.

On the downside, ISSA also supported the TPA. Not sure why, but I'll try to find out, and don't know if he still does. That's a negative of course, but mos tof them did, so it's going to be hard to find one that didn't. As Speaker, he probably wouldn't, especially not now.

It's a well know fact that Rep. Issa support a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens. IMO, it is ludicrous to think he is only saying that because he wants to turn around and deport them once they're identified. He has verbally said he supports a pathway to citizenship for illegals. Not to believe him would make him a liar, wouldn't it?

He's never said that. He said for some with the rest to be deported, and his bill didn't provide for citizenship, so it was moot to begin with. I didn't agree with his plan, but I understood why he was trying to register them to count them.

In 2001, he introduced the Alien Accountability Act, which was along the same lines, to find them so they could be counted and deported. He can't stand illegal aliens. He voted to build the wall and he voted against the Dream Act in 2010. He's a businessman who knows they're costing US a fortune but no one knows how many there are. This is the type of government disfunction that really bothers a good leader who needs to know how many, what are they costing, where are they, what are they doing in order to solve the problem.

So who do you like for Speaker?

Issa Embraces Path to Citizenship for Illegal Immigrants

Issa is the latest GOP leader to back immigration reform.

    By Lauren FoxFeb. 6, 2013 | 3:17 p.m. EST+ More

California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa is the latest GOP lawmaker to refine his stance on immigration.
The House Oversight Committee chairman told reporters Wednesday he can support a pathway to citizenship for some of the 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. and that he actually prefers it to a plan that would create a second-class of citizens through alternative programs.
"I support the framework that the bipartisan group of senators are working on," Issa said. "We have to remember the 11 million people who are here are people."
He hinted that in the Republican Party, he is not alone.

"It's what Abraham Lincoln would have said, it is what the Republican Party stands for," Issa said. "It is the reason we have to get it right on who stays and who goes."
[RELATED: No. 2 House Republican Pivots on Immigration]
Republicans have mounted an aggressive campaign on Capitol Hill to showcase their new, more moderate tone on immigration reform and a bipartisan group of lawmakers in the House is working behind closed doors to outline their own immigration plan, although it is unclear whether it will include a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants.
In the past, Issa has taken a harsher tone on immigration issues, voting for a plan in 2006 to build a wall along the Mexican border and against the DREAM Act in 2010.
But Issa's in a unique position as a Republican in California, a state with one of the largest immigrant populations. Issa says he understands the impact immigrants make on California's economy, including the state's thriving agricultural sector.
Not everyone in the Republican caucus, however, is embracing a path to citizenship. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte expressed reluctance to the idea during the House's first immigration hearing of the 113th Congress Tuesday.
[ENJOY: Political Cartoons About Illegal Immigration]
And Alabama Republican Rep. Spencer Bachus dismissed the plan as "toxic," and as undermining of the nation's laws during the hearing.
But there is no denying that there is sea change happening among Republicans whose leadership members one by one are adapting their postilions.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor announced Tuesday he could get behind a plan to help so-called DREAMers, individuals who came to the Untied States illegally as children.
"One of the great founding principles of our country was that children would not be punished for the mistakes of their parents," Cantor said during a presentation at the American Enterprise Institute. "It is time to provide an opportunity for legal residence and citizenship for those who were brought to this country as children and who know no other home."

Yes, he can see it for "some", not all. That was in 2013. Read his statements and votes before 2013 and read them after 2013. In 2014, he didn't even support the Dream Act.

So who do you like for Speaker?
Yeah, he's a businessman who fully supports corporate America's desire for more foreign labor with increases in worker visas. He is on record as supporting the more than doubling of H1-B visas (65,000 to 155,000)! As for his actions during 2001, you're talking about something that happened over a decade and a half ago. How many politicians have we seen change their position over the last 15 years? Well, he certainly wouldn't be the first. As for supporting the Secure Fence Act of 2006 ...... exactly how many Republicans didn't support that bill? Same thing with the Dream Act bill you're referring to. Almost all Republicans supported the Secure Fence Act bill and opposed the Dream Act. As we've since found out though, many amnesty supporters were hiding in those ranks.

he House Oversight Committee chairman told reporters Wednesday he can support a pathway to citizenship for some of the 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. and that he actually prefers it to a plan that would create a second-class of citizens through alternative programs.

Some are all, either way it is still amnesty for illegals. Cut and dry, either the man is a liar or he supports amnesty.

I sort of like Marsha Blackburn. Don't bother with the same old arguments, she supports TPA, blah, blah, blah. I already know this. However, I've never once heard her say a single word in support of amnesty. Oh, and without checking, I'm betting she too voted in support of the Secure Fence Act and against the Dreamer Act. The only reason I throw her name out there is because I saw it somewhere on a long list of potentials. I absolutely refuse to support a confirmed amnesty supporter. What about Trey Gowdy, didn't you like him at one point? I believe his name was also on the list of potentials I saw.

Paul Ryan is the mouthpiece for our Global Governance Crowd

Seems like our media is pressing real hard to get Paul Ryan elected as Speaker of the House.
Every time I turn on the TV some talking head is praising Paul Ryan and suggesting he is the only one who can get the required number of votes.

Of course, there is no mention by our big media of his support for policies which are contrary to our Constitution and not in the best interests of America's general welfare. Instead, many of his policies are designed to carry our the agenda of our Global Governance Crowd.

    JWK

To support Paul Ryan is to support our Global Governance Crowd and their FAST TRACK, WTO, NAFTA, GATT, CAFTA, and the Trans-Pacific Partnership deal, all used to circumvent America First trade policies, while fattening the fortunes of international corporate giants who have no allegiance to America or any nation.
