Actually, threads are pretty "tough" to do this on, UNLESS there is a true thread owner, who snags the pics, and adds them to the site (with references if people want them). I thread that goes 100's of posts deep, with interspersed commentary (like this message which I will delete some time), make housing of pics (or any "ammunition" data) tough.

I would recommend some way to catalog pics. Also, someone who would take "ownership" of a sticky thread which contains "ammunition" articles, law links, stats, etc, so that if someone is looking to prep for a speech, or simply brushing up on debate info, they have a one-stop shop. YES, the whole site is certainly a "ammunition" site, but it is scattered around, takes a while to find everything needed, Here is an example:

(I "think" people can get to that link without being signed up). NOTE that the thread itself has fallen upon disrepair, with no new data for quite some time, and it was last bumped on Feb 22. However, a thread like that (and pic thread with "ownership and maintainance") can REALLY help people learn how to destroy the emenies 4th grade level talking points.

You're way ahead of me on some of the cataloging and tech comments. As far as the thread stretching to "100's" of pictures, I don't know that it would because I didn't find a whole lot to post. I did various searches for images with Google and mostly found repeating scenes but different pics of border invasion, some good cartoons, etc. I'm going to post some day laborer pics now. What TDT had suggested... think his comment was "the hordes" I can't exactly find in pictures except for the large groups waiting to cross. A great find would be declining neighborhoods or houses painted in festiva colors smack in the middle of a decent neighborhood with multiple autos outside and obviously, several generations inside spilling over to the property on either side of them. Those would have to be personal photos, tho.

So, what do you think of the picture idea? It certainly drives home the point for new visitors and the images may help to spur activitists to TAKE BACK OUR LAND!

If you find any pics, please post ... we'll let William do the sorting out.

Interesting and good idea. I think William is tweaking and updating the forum daily, I'm sure, as the numbers grow. You have some good ideas you should pass along to him.

(I'm not a rocket scientist like you claim to be but I do catch on quickly ... so throw out some ideas if you wish).

Yahoo has a section called Yahoo groups. The service is FREE, and contains a very limited e-mail discussion forum (useful as a backup if the forum goes down), a calender, and a photo library or archive. See http://groups.yahoo.com/ for more info.

Right now, I don't have a lot of these, but TRUST ME, soon there will be lots of them coming all the way from Nebraska. We will be doing our own documentation of the situation. We have 1000's of scenes like you list above scattered all over the state (strangly, usually quite close to a meat packing plant )

One thing that the "owner" of the picture thread needs is power to kill or edit posts. When "huge" pictures arrive, they need to be downloaded, then something like Paint Shop Pro needs to be used to resize them to a scale that fits the page (see many other threads for complaints).


When our grassroots group gets going, we will start providing still, and video of the problems. We WILL target certain buisnesses, and simply video tape all the goings and comings from the buisness, including taping all of the workers, and their cars, and the license plates of them. We can do ALL of that, as long as we stay in "public" areas. Also, documenting the crap way they live (housing, etc), will also be done. The people of this state (and all of this country) NEED to see what is happening. The broken cars, naked children running all over, dirty diapers, trash, ... ALL of that in a community which until recently was a beautiful place to live. Then simply show that MANY such places exist. People will get upset when you force them to actually open their eyes and see the problem. Some may feel pity, but I think most will feel outrage! I know I do.

There are numerous, however MOST are unmoderated, and thurn into a waste of time of arians yelling that the jews (but using a different monikar)are the cause of ALL the worlds ills, (muslims also jump into this), and the jews (and others) who shoot flames at the ariens/muslims (but frequently do not call them those PC names).

A couple I am aware of are:

ameraganistillegalimmigration (moderator left, and mostly flame wars)

citizensagainstillegalaliens (same problems as above).

h1bfraud (closed group, i.e. you must be approved. Some flames, but much less than the 2 above)

mmp-chat (closed group, this is the "unofficial" MMP list, started by MMP people who wanted to keep a email forum open. Some trash, and some MMP flames) Not sure if non MMP's are allowed in.
