Planned Unaccompanied Parenthood – How the Catholic Church is Aiding Illegals at Tax

Planned Unaccompanied Parenthood – How the Catholic Church is Aiding Illegals at Tax Payer Expense

    Ed Wood 3 hours ago

I have written previously about the Obama Administration's solicitation last January for "escorts" in anticipation of 50,000 Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) expected to arrive across the Rio Grande around the first of June. Also noted was an "order" from the Catholic bishop and Archdiocese of San Bernardino, CA that as a result of contact by the federal government, the Church had made the decision to "absorb the immigrants that are coming through," and instructed parish members to "open our homes and house the arriving immigrants." All this sounded rather benevolent until it was revealed that perhaps some other motivation was in play here --- like, maybe, federal grant monies.

During the years of 2010 through 2013, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Galveston, Texas received $15,549,078 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for their "Unaccompanied Alien Children Project." The Catholic Charities of Fort Worth received $350,000 and the Catholic Charities of Dallas received another $823,658 from the Department of Homeland Security for "citizenship and education training" and for "refugee and entrant assistance." An extensive study by the University of Texas - El Paso, can be found here:

Always wanting to be "fair and balanced," during this same period the Administration awarded the Baptist Child & Family Services $62,111,126 (that's MILLIONS folks) in Health & Human Services grants for their "Unaccompanied Alien Children Program." These actions are an activity of the "Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships," a project of the Executive Office of the President of the United States. More evidence, of course, that the current flood of "Unaccompanied Alien Children" is a planned activity that has been in the works for several years. President Obama knew he needed the "faith and compassion" angle to sell his amnesty agenda, so winning over religious groups has been a key part of his program. Now we have clear evidence that Obama has been manipulating religious groups by greasing their palms with tens, if not hundreds, of millions in taxpayer dollars. This doesn't say much for the integrity of either the Administration, or its faith-based partners.

In happier times here in my home state of Tennessee, the Catholic Charities were delegated the sole authority for the establishment and implementation of the State's immigration practices. Since taking over the program, they have increased the number of immigrants being brought to Tennessee by 66%. They are paid by the federal government for each person they bring to Tennessee, then enroll their clients into TennCare, Tessessee's taxpayer-funded equivalent to Medicaid

So currently, the legislative bodies of the state of Tennessee have absolutely no say about whether or how many people the federally funded human traffickers bring into the state. Catholic Charities of TN, Inc. do say they plan to expand the Federal Refugee Resettlement program. and is currently holding "Know Your Rights" informational sessions at churches and community centers around Nashville and elsewhere. Just one more example of the devious methods the federal government uses to force the states to fix problems created by federal policies.

Legislation is being prepared, and a special session of the General Assembly is being requested, to address problems associated with the current deluge of border crossers, and to return authority over immigration policies back to the Tennessee General Assembly, where it rightly belongs.

JESUS & JESÚS: Biblical Immigration For The Bleeding Heart

    Posted on July 21, 2014

Here is a take on the immigration crisis from a Christian perspective, versus the false one that the media and politicians are trying to throw at people. What would Jesus do in this case? Check it out…
    You are being played.

At least that’s what liberals are attempting to do to you by taking some aspects of our Christian faith, in violation of others, to make you feel guilty when there is no reason. The “humanitarian” crisis on our southern border is just one example of the larger problem that will ultimately bankrupt America as it violates God’s order in the misguided pursuit of charity and utopia.

Yes, we do have a biblical obligation to help people, but not indiscriminately. For example, we must help true Christian widows (1 Tim 5:9-10) and orphans (James 1:27). Why? Because they don’t have families. The family is God’s social welfare program, not the government. “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”I Timothy 5:8

When we try to usurp the family we’re fighting against God. Building on the fanciful sand of a socialistic welfare state, not on the rock of God’s Word, is destined to fail. When families send unaccompanied minors to our borders we should treat them humanely as we immediately send them back to their families. Releasing them into our cities is a recipe for disaster. Many of them have already been exploited and will be further or turn to crime just to survive.

Our nation’s immigration policies are both realistic and compassionate, there is simply a lack of political will to enforce them. We can and should provide a refuge for people in certain extreme circumstances, such as religious persecution. But, it is cultural suicide to say to the whole world if you can get to America you can stay and live off the system. “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.” (2 Thessalonians 3:10)

Nations in order to exist must have borders, a common culture and language. God establishes and respects nations and determines their borders.

“And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines.” Exodus 23:31He makes peace in your borders… Psalm 147:14“And [God] hath… appointed… the bounds of their habitation.” Acts 17:26 Only the most ideologically deluded radicals think there should be no borders.
