possibly the best news I have heard in a long time....

    Gang:

This is possibly the best thing I have heard mentioned in a long time (i.e. coming from the mainstream media)...

This is a quote from Pat Buchanan's American Conservative...

Last night on Fox News, this writer heard Bill O’Reilly and Congressman Tom Tancredo use the I-word, impeachment, should terrorists detonate a terror device they smuggled over the border President Bush refuses to defend.

Yes! I hope the drums of impeachment continue to beat louder and louder each day until this clown is disgracefully removed from office.

Patriotman--I heard myself Bill O'Reilly use the Impeachment word about a week ago....he asked the question--if the President won't DO anything what are the options....Impeachment??? I think it was Tancredo....who wasn't ready to go in that direction yet....but didn't rule it out.

WE HAVE TO GET O'REILLY'S PETITION SIGNED BY THE 1,000,000 HE WANTS...WHY HE CHOSE 1,000,000 IS BEYOND ME....BUT ANYWAY THAT'S WHAT HE DID SO WE MUST GET MORE PEOPLE TO SIGN THAT PETITION!!

Let's agree to behave in a civil manner here. While I disagree with our president on certain issues, and illegal immigration is one of them, I respect him and the office he holds.

We are speaking, after all, about the Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces, and the leader of the greatest nation this planet has ever seen. He is *not* a clown.

Please, folks, take the time to understand that this forum is MORE THAN JUST YOUR TYPICAL RANT FORUM. Folks from every station in life, pro and con on this issue, are coming here to see what we have to say, what we believe and what we stand for in regards to this ONE SINGLE ISSUE of Illegal Immigration. Denigrating the office and person of the President of the United States of America doesn't sit well with a whole lot of people, regardless of their political persuasion.

Rarius: You make a good point. Maybe there is a place for tempering our comments when it comes to "denigrating the office...." At the same time, check out the "Good old Teddy Kennedy" forum where Charlesoakisland lists the collective criminal behavior of the 535 members of the U.S. Congress. I believe in respecting the office and respecting the institutions of America, but should we necessarily respect some of the people who are sitting in those offices? Especially considering some of the specimens currently in Washington DC? The "throw the bums out" vibe is the only message that gets through to some of these hacks. Because the only thing that most of them care about is themselves, as opposed to serving the American people. Once a few heads start to roll, you watch how quickly these politicians jump on our bandwagon.

Rarius, you are always calling us down as if we were merely misbehaving children and nothing more is at stake than washing the ink out of our pigtail. Being 'nice' and politically correct has gotten us absolutely NOWHERE in trying to bring attention and HELP to this subject. The help being from our legislators. They're not gonna get off their bums until they understand that we're mad as hell and we're not gonna take it anymore.

You are not a moderator on this forum, you are not my teacher...please remember that when you ask me to be politically correct.

This man sitting in that oval office on this very day has deserved respect from no one other than the corporate enterprises and global elites that he serves. So leave the respect part to THEM.

I agree with Road Runner on this one. I'm all for calm, well-reasoned debate, and "winning the hearts and minds of the people," and etc. But don't kid yourself. We are not playing patty-cakes here. We are in a street fight. We are being INVADED by illegals from a hostile nation. With the tacit approval of many of our own elected officials. Check out the name of a similar forum: "Save Our State." Which I believe speaks eloquently to the urgency of the task at hands. P.S. Our opponents have stuped to every manner of lies and dirty tricks and dirty politics and racial demogogery. I don't believe in stuping to their level. But I'm more than ready to throw their own bs back in their chump faces.

After Bush senior, Bill Clinton, and now George W. just what is left to respect of this office.

“Commander and Chief, is this the same one who gutted the benefits for Veterans, so now while we have tax payer paid medical care for illegal aliens we do not have coverage for those who were promised it when they served. Is this the same Commander and Chief you have in mind? The one who put the military on the border of Iraq but not on the border of our own nation while we are being assaulted by an unrelenting invasion force.

And a leader, a leader, oh please. If you take away his family connections George W. Bush would have been challenged to rise to the rank of chief french fry salter at McDonalds.

You may respect this traitor if you wish, but I will contend that he has clearly violated his oath of office and should be removed from office.

Go ahead and worship him if you wish, but I side with Dman.

Remember our audience? Whatever do you mean? Seriously, most people had the chance to vote for some really dim-witted (Howard) or santanic (Kerry) or a half-likable do-gooder (Bush). The pickens were slim.
Anyone who voted for Bush, were hoping that he would come to his senses about the amnesty thing. Who would have ever imagined that Bush would completely fold in his duties to our country. He needs to 'remember his audience'.
