Immigrants are recovering from the economic downturn and finding jobs faster than workers born in the United States. Between 2009 and 2011, employment among foreign-born workers rose 5.2 percent, compared with 1.8 percent for U.S.-born workers. Today’s infographic has the full story. Why the stark disparity?

This suggests very clearly that as long as there is cheap or cheaper help available that no one in the political structure is going to promote hiring Americans. I d not see this improving soon, regarkless of the election results. Too much history in both parties to feel different.
