Welfare spending is projected to skyrocket over the next 10 years, costing taxpayers $10.3 trillion and driving the United States toward bankruptcy. To make matters worse, a new report shows that the United States is seeing large percentage of its immigrant population exacting a costly toll on the welfare roles. According to Steven A. Camarota of the Center for Immigration Studies:
In 2009 (based on data collected in 2010), 57 percent of households headed by an immigrant (legal and illegal) with children (under 18) used at least one welfare program, compared to 39 percent for native households with children.
Camarota also notes that low education among immigrant-headed households is part of the problem:
Of households headed by an immigrant who has not graduated high school, 80 percent access the welfare system, compared to 25 percent for those headed by an immigrant who has at least a bachelor’s degree.
With means-tested welfare spending approaching $1 trillion per year and 15 percent ($100 billion per year) of total spending going to households headed by immigrants with high school degrees or less, limiting low-skill immigration is one way to tackle the problem. The Heritage Foundation’s Katherine Bradley and Robert Rector write:
Government policy should limit future immigration to those who will be net fiscal contributors, paying more in taxes than they receive in benefits. The legal immigration system should not encourage immigration of low-skill immigrants who would increase poverty in the nation and impose vast new costs on already overburdened taxpayers.
In addition, the government should not provide amnesty or “earned citizenshipâ€

Look at any welfare office in our Country and you'll see wall to wall illegals with their endless anchors in tow with yet another one on the way! It's an endless revolving door for them. On top of that, look around at who has most of the jobs, the older anchors! I'm so sick of going into businesses where the staff, including management, speak in Spanish! They have welfare, our jobs, our seats in college, and every single benefit they can get their hands on! Now who's discriminated againt??? LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS, that's who!! This country is doomed and I don't see it changing at all, unless more anti-illegal immigration bills are passed and I mean SOON!!

I have personally had to deal with the backlash of the anchors holding the medical jobs. After I graduated from medical assistant school and moved here, I applied to hundreds of MA jobs to no avail! I never even received one repose to all the resumes I sent out. However, every one of the employees in EVERY doctor's office I have been in here in the Phoenix area speak both Spanish and English! And who are most of these bilinguals? Adult anchors of course!!!! When I went to pay the rent at the management office here one day, the Mexican office lady's adult daughter came to see her and guess what she was wearing? Scrubs, because she is a medical assistant and they had no problem hiring her since she is an adult anchor who speaks Spanish!
I'm so sick of this, I can't wait to go back home where they are actually more concerned about whether you speak ENGLISH when you apply for a job!!!!!!!!

I'm curious drama, has anything changed there since SB1070 was signed as far as the employment opportunities for non-hispanics?? Also, everyday I have to deal with all the invaders here in Southern Calif, I think about moving somewhere where the population is still Americans! I wonder if a State still exists?? I have learned so much on ALIPAC the widespread of illegals throughout the USA, I'm not so sure there's any place to avoid living with them! 8O If you have a "secret" place, I don't blame you for not announcing it!

As far as I can tell nothing has changed. I still here incessant chattering of Spanish every where I go. When I took my daughter to the doctor's office recently every single employee in there down to the physician's assistant was an adult bilingual anchor. That is in addition to the fact that aside from when I am on the MCC campus, every single landscaper and construction worker I see is hispanic. Hell, pretty much all the workers I see here are hispanic. They get their foot in the door by working cheaply or being bilingual and as soon as one of them gets in a position of management, only hispanics are hired from there on.
There are still states that are mostly American, for some odd reason the foreigners don't like cold northern states in the mid-west. They like to stay where they are comfortable for the most part and they don't like to travel any further than what is necessary.
