Pro-illegals hold press conf. in Chicago Church.

From: "Comite 10 de Marzo" <comite10demarzo@gmail.com>

Our Lady of Guadalupe Anglican Catholic Mission, leader in the fight
for immigrants' rights opens its new site.

Who: Bishop Larry Shaver, Obl., O.S.B., S.T.D. of the Anglican
Province of America, elected officials from the City of Chicago and
    immigration activists.
    What: Opening of the Mission
Place: 3442 W. de la Calle 26, Little Village
    Time: 11 a.m.

"The Anglican Catholic Mission of Our Lady of Guadalupe finally has an
appropriate local", says Reverend José S. Landaverde. Since its
creation, two years ago, the Mission has been in the forefront of the
struggle in favor of immigrants' rights, and servicing them with
programs no other organization provides them with. The Mission
maintains a Food Pantry for families of immigrants arrested by ICE,
provides legal counseling and referrals to get legal services at low
cost, and helps the sons and daughters of detainees with after-school
    programs.

Since February of 2008, upon the unjustified increased actions against
the immigrant community, the Mission increased its activities, helping
dozens of people to get legal help, training immigrants on their
rights, with public actions and picket lines, and training future
leaders among the people affected by ICE. Throughout 2008, the Mission
has helped to pay over $100,000 in bonds for ICE detainees.

Its new site will allow the Mission to extend its services and help,
and expand its programs in favor of the immigrant community in need.

On December 5th, at 11 a.m., Bishop Larry Shaver, Obl., O.S.B.,
S.T.D., Chicago's elected officials and immigration activists will
inaugurate the new site. At 6 p.m., the Mission will celebrate the
    event with its congregation.

Revoke their tax exempt status! They have become affiliated with a political cause and this is wrong.

As a Catholic myself, I'd really like to know one thing. The Catholic Church has LOTS of LAWS.

Do those LAWS matter or is the Catholic Church as flexible about THOSE LAWS as they are about our country's LAWS?
