Rand Paul Goes Full Birther Against ‘Friend’ Ted Cruz; Attack Ad Calls Cruz ‘Canadian’

A pro-Rand Paul super PAC released the first pure attack ad of the 2016 GOP presidential primary, painting fellow RepublicanTed Cruz, who has stood by him against domestic spying, including during his last filibuster, as a “Capitulating Canadian.”

The America’s Liberty PAC, ran by longtime Paul strategist Jesse Benton, released the attack ad on Friday, titled “Sunday, Sunday, Sunday,” for the upcoming expiration of the Patriot Act and debate set for this Sunday, paints Paul as the photoshopped muscular pro wrestler, “The Rand Man,” fighting against Obama, “the head of the Washington spy machine,” and against “so-called conservative accomplices” lumping Cruz, referred to as a “Capitulating Canadian” in with RINO South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham.

Below is the picture of how Cruz’s “good friend” Ted Cruz is portrayed in the video:

Cruz has co-sponsored a bi-partisan, compromise bill, the USA Freedom Act, which he claims would “respect the privacy rights of law-abiding citizens, while at the same time, give law enforcement the tools needed to target terrorists.”

Cruz, who was born in Canada to a mother who was born in the United States and a father who was born in Cuba, has been determined by the National Constitution Center and other experts to be eligible to run for the office of President, is no doubt a target of Camp Paul’s attempt to pander to his fringe birther base.
