Well maybe if enforceing the laws and protecting U.S. citizens is such a tough decision for the governor, he is evidently in the wrong job, or the residence of Mississippi have put the wrong man in offfice.

The lady that answered the phone told me that the Governor always waits till the last day to sign bills.

I've received so many positives regarding passage of SB 2988. How can it come to this?

Indiana failed because of three men. Pathetic. What a pathetic show of support for it's own citizens. Popular vote defeated once again by a lobbyist. Popular vote doesn't mean jack in this country. Obviously the majority does not rule.

The lady I spoke with seemed somewhat frazzled. I told her I had heard there is a possibility the governor may veto the bill, and she emphatically denied it. I reminded her of his promise to crack down on illegal immigration, and she stated that he is well aware of his promise.

Let's keep up with Mississippi. Don't let the Governor stop this.
We failed in Idaho. RS 18074 making it illegal to hire illegal aliens, was killed in committee. 18 members of the House State Affairs Committee decided for the whole state of Idaho.
