Hi all, I am still here and it looks like any danger for me has passed.
At this point the fire is about 15 to 20% contained and so far no homes have been lost, as long as they can keep containing it there should be no damage to structures. It's been overcast today so it is cooler making it easier on the firefighters but I know how hard they work.
I want to thank all of you for your concern and kindness.

Update,
the fire is now 25% contained and everybody is being allowed back into their homes, as long as no new fires start up things should be fine.
I guess these illegals missed the sign along the border, there actually is one out there that says "please be careful with fire" written in spanish.
Bear paw just informed me that the DC10 is costing twentyfive grand a day so I hope everybody is working some overtime to help pay for all this.

I'm glad to hear they're really starting to get it under control.
