Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s name was left off Florida primary ballots according to reports relayed by Fox News’ Jennifer Eckhart on Twitter who said the local Fox affiliate has received “dozens of complaints.”

Eckhart wrote the irregularities are in “Jupiter County” which does not exist. She probably meant the town of Jupiter or Palm Beach County where Jupiter is located. Palm Beach County is where Trump’s Florida base Mar-a-Lago is located.

Donald Trump complained on Twitter Tuesday that many Florida residents were saying that his name was not on the ballot in the critical Sunshine State primary.

Florida is one of five states holding primaries on Tuesday — and Trump's tweet followed posts Saturday that rival Marco Rubio was trying to manipulate the vote in his state through early voting.

The state had an eight-day period for early voting that had begun on March 5.

If you are registered as a Democrat or an Independent Trump's name won't be on your ballot because it is only on the Republican ballot.

Or the poll worker handed you the wrong ballot.

No, there are no phony ‘Independent’ ballots in Florida.

Reminder: Florida has a cutoff date for registering as a Republican for the primary. It was last month. Any Florida voter who missed the cutoff date for registration will be given a nonpartisan ballot, not an ‘Independent’ one.

Only Republicans or Democrats, may not vote in their respective party’s primaries. This is a known situation, and should not be a surprise for anyone.

Florida election officials: Trump's name not left off ballot

JUPITER, Fla. (AP) - Florida election officials said Tuesday that Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's name was not left off ballots in a town in South Florida, despite a small number of voter complaints.

Florida is a closed-primary state, which means only registered Republicans would get a ballot listing Trump and the other GOP candidates.

Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher said that independent voters can't vote in the primary. Bucher said Tuesday that some residents in Jupiter, Florida who were voting in municipal elections complained when they didn't see Trump's name on the ballot. Bucher said none of the other presidential candidates were listed on those ballots either.

"A lot of complaints from people saying my name is not on the ballot in various places in Florida," Trump wrote on Twitter Tuesday. "Hope this is false."

Florida was the biggest prize among the five states holding presidential primaries Tuesday, where Donald was counting on a win in Marco Rubio's home state.

The Sunshine State, which was ridiculed worldwide after election problems during the 2000 presidential recount, will award 99 winner-take-all Republican delegates and 214 Democratic delegates distributed proportionally.

Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner said he had spoken with the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office and stressed that "all eligible voters are able to vote."

Detzner said anyone registered as "no party affiliation" is not able to vote for a Republican or Democratic candidate in the primary.

Voters must register with a party affiliation 29 days before the primary and could not change after the Feb. 16 deadline.
