Thread: Letter To US From Team America

Dear Friend,

We have hit a nerve in Utah! The King of Amnesty, Congressman Chris
Cannon, used his Saturday debate with opponent John Jacob, to attack me.
He referred to me directly and called me a xenophobe!!

And as reported in the Deseret News his chief of staff said that Cannon
was responding to my e-mail to you last week. He claims it was code for
racism!! This is what I wrote that they claim was “code”:

“Pence's plan is to turn over our immigration policy to the private
sector…. Employers could bring in as many guest workers as they
want—Why wait 20 years when you can do all the harm in three! We
will be overrun in months, and our jobs will be sold in mass to the
cheapest bidders.”

Can you believe this nonsense! What exactly is code about that!

Bottom line: We have reduced the Congressman to ad hominem attacks in
record time! All with just the threat of radio ads! Now that we are on
the air, expect Cannon to go even further in his effort to demonize Team
America, and me personally.

This ugly mean-spirited assault is the favored strategy of the open border
crowd, one I have seen up close and personal too many times--but it will
not deter me. The country is far too important to allow personal attacks
to allow us to so much as miss a step.

Our focus must be defeating Chris Cannon. Remember Cannon was President
Bush’s point man in Congress for immigration! Sending him packing will be
terrific victory, one that will totally unsettle his congressional
colleagues.

Friend, defeating Cannon is our best chance of stopping amnesty once and
for all! It will send the message to Congress that they have five months
to secure the borders and enforce our immigration laws. Nothing more and
nothing less--or face the consequences come November.

Attached are copies of the ad which are running all this week--thanks to
you!!! Your contributions allowed us to purchase a strong buy this week
and we managed to get some great free media with news stories about the
Ads. We are making great headway!

But we need another $12,000. We must stay up on radio and even increase
our buy somewhat to have the greatest possible impact. I hesitate to ask
for your help again but I have no where else to go! We simply must stay
up with these ads for another 10 days! If you can help in any way I would
really appreciate it. And I certainly understand if you can’t.

Thanks so much for all your help and support. It is critical we begin to
hold these open border congressman accountable and put our nation back
into the hands of Americans who will fight to preserve it.

Right on Bay !

I have a strong feeling it will not deter you, or others, at ALL ! People, especially our elected officials, tend to cower when faced with being forced to be accountable to their constituents. Reasoned debate is impossible when their power is threatened or questioned in any way.
