Apparently, this whole issue is kicking up quite a controversy locally.
Here's a popular local (very progressive, generally) blog which has the local city official sparring with the local Lars Larson (conservative talk radio guy) about the city's handling of IA laborers and what the city official said before and after his interview with Lars.
