    Results of amnesty vote today

Here's the list of those that voted for and against the Vitter amendment today. The purpose of the Sen. Vitter (R-LA) amendment was to strike the amnesty provision (Z-Visa program) from the bill. A large portion of the 12-30 million illegal immigrants currently living in the United States will become legalized after President Bush signs the amnesty bill currently before the U.S. Senate. Of course that is assuming the bill makes it to Bush's desk (we need to stop it).

The Aye votes were in support of the Vitter amendment and the Nay votes against it. Now we know for sure who the amnesty supporters are!

The traitors have been flushed out! Now we know which specific Senators to dedicate the majority of our calls and faxes to. Anyone with an "Nay" before their name needs contacted tomorrow by a bunch of angry American citizens! Please, let's fill those voice mailboxes up over this Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Print the list and find a place for it next to your phone.

Very narrowly. If these same ones vote against the bill (and since they are all saying "no" to amnesty" they *should*) then the bill won't pass if I understand it (don't they need 60 votes?)
