The American people and our nation would be so much better off if the people that we elect to represent us in Washington would actually do that, instead of attacking us in the service of their big money globalist masters once safely across state lines.
One of the worst offenders among the RINO Republican establishment is Arizona Senator Jeff Flake. He was one of the original gang of eight amnesty traitors along with John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Marco Rubio (R-FL).
Graham and Rubio seem to think that we’ve forgotten what they’re made of and are considering running for president. Let’s hope they do; their humiliation and the financial hit they take in their failed attempts will be food for the soul. Flake, lacking the infamous name recognition of his coconspirators, is targeting the American people in other ways.
He is working in tandem with the deceptive House Speaker, John Boehner in the revival of the Mike McCaul (R-TX) bill that is fraudulently represented by establishment Republicans as a piece of border security legislation. Those in the know, including the Border Patrol union, say it does not increase security. It is just another example of the subversive nature of corrupt government officials who are determined to undermine the will of the people in exchange for their own personal rewards.
In a speech in which he laid the groundwork for the Republicans to capitulate to the Obama dictatorial decree, Flake said, “I want to say from the outset that I don’t think the president did the right thing by taking this unilateral action.” He then proceeded to accuse those who want to defund the Obama abuse of power and assault on the working middle class of America as small-minded, and vengeful partisans who took personal pleasure in “poking the ‘president’ in the eye” on the issue.
Perhaps the sellout Flake can’t grasp the concept of serving the people of the United States, but this is not an issue of personality or Obama individually. It is a constitutional matter and a legal one, with those like Flake who support the criminal acts equally guilty of a criminal assault on our nation as well.
Flake introduced a companion piece of legislation to the McCaul fraud in conjunction with fellow corporate establishment servants John Cornyn (R-TX) and Ron Johnson (R-WI). They also talk a good immigration game in the interest of self-promotion, but they fail miserably when presented with an opportunity to act on our behalf.
In the spirit of the axiom of “do something even if it’s wrong,” and in service to his corporate masters, Flake said, “I happen to be a cosponsor of the bill in the Senate which would help us get a more secure border. That’s one piece of legislation we could be moving right now and put on the president’s desk.”
Actually, that more secure border thing is a lie for a multitude of reasons which we weren’t supposed to know about, not the least of which is the removal of 66 miles of border fence in the interest of free travel by people across the border, in both directions. It also does nothing to end or restrict the current catch and release program which is nothing more than a thinly-veiled amnesty via abdication of duty through DHS mandate. It’s filled with many other deceptions which are intended to distract the public from the key, damaging components, of which there are many.
Flake wasn’t done yet though; he proceeded to go on an anti-citizen Democrat talking points rant, in one of the most brazen displays of RINOism since the midterm election of Corey Gardner (R-CO).
He said, “We also need legislation to expand the guest worker plans and programs that we have now,” a fascist nod to his buddies at Facebook and elsewhere.
Flake promoted rewarding the so-called DREAMers repeating the false narrative that the illegal amnesty gives them a means by which to “get right with the law.” Since the amnesty is a violation of the law, it is an absurd contradiction to claim that anything associated with it can result in lawfulness. Truly getting right with the law would involve a one-way bus ticket.
Of course no lawless Senatorial diatribe would be complete without the promotion of dictatorial illegal amnesty, belying his original assertion that he is opposed to the unilateral action. Even with his multi-directional, demagnetized moral compass, it’s impossible for Flake to both support it and oppose it simultaneously.
Flake was funded by the people he now serves, and it is not the people of Arizona or of the United States. He’s a political prostitute, for sale to the highest bidder. He’s not cheap, but he can be had, a fact he is clearly demonstrating through his words and his deeds.
